Making an intro

Hey All,

I’ve been lurking on this forum since December 2016. I’ve been interested in MGTOW since my wife left me in (around) 2011 which is around the time I discovered Sandman. (I lived near him but don’t know him)

I’m an IT consultant and exec. Ex-wife was fvking a friend of ours (neighbor) for a while, while I was travelling for work and building her business.

I don’t have kids, I have diverse interests.

It’s been an interesting road since getting divorced. I was married around 11 years or so. I’ve never had a problem getting dates but as I’m now a few years single I’m not really seeing much of a rate of return from the effort invested in getting women.

I think I’d rather ride my bike, work on my side gig and help others in recovery (AA) than chase women.

Thats my story.

Oh and I go by CJ.

Thank you guys – for the warm welcome. Its great to be among brothers who understand.

I’ve helped a lot of guys in AA and have (casually) introduced them towards MGTOW. Women will make you drink!
Lots of successful men have fallen to the drink over women.

Hey Manipulated Man,

I also do both. I’ve been riding motorcycles for most of my life. I mostly ride Adventure and off road these days.

How about you?

In the last year I’ve started to get into road cycling and mountain biking. I see it as a good way to meet new people and get exercise, especially when I don’t have time to get out to the good trails before dark.

My side gig is that I’m building an adventure bike guide business, with some web based journalism included. I plan/lead a lot of rides in the desert for folks, its one of my passions.

Used my bicycle on paper route jobs in the suburbs as a kid.

I rode dirt bikes as a teenager/ young man & had all sorts of bicycles throughout my life.

Used an inexpensive bicycle a lot in the city for transportation and had another hi tech one for my excursions to wooded trails.

My best mountain bike was a fully suspended Cannondale that I abused on rough trails for over a decade. Now, I mostly go on the crushed gravel trails. I turned it into an electric assisted bike eight years ago, so I can keep up with the twenty year olds and avoid knee/ back issues.

However, the love of my life was a BMW 1100GS that I rode in my forties. It had the power and engineering to be stable at 110 MPH on the open road. The acceleration was addictive. There was a brief love affair with the Honda Gold wing which is a fine low maintenance road bike that is ideal for long distance trips.

Most of my pals who worked in the Trades had Harleys and I got to try some of them. Their bikes had too many issues. But, they had the best parties. And they had the most women begging for a ride.

Even though I was not “monogamous” with motorcycles and bicycles, I tend to stick with those that work well and are a good fit.

Those of us who like to ride all kinds of bikes feel that it is often as good as or even better than sex.

My BMW 1100 GS was totaled making a stupid errand in my neighborhood in the City. Some nurse in a SUV side swiped me and none of my training saved me from my fate.

Anyway, there was an interesting relationship between the size of my belly and using a motorcycle. My six pack turned into a one pack when I rode the motorcycle too much.
