So this was announced something like a few days ago. A little old, but the reason it’s exciting is because this is the first time it’s being released outside of Japan. That means that scalpers selling the last few copies left for Japanese Xbox’s won’t have quite the same monopoly, at least for a while.

It’s a bit different from Fromsoft’s typical games ever since Demon’s Souls. From what I recall, it’s a fast paced, action packed mech shooter with hilariously cheesy dialogue and crazy story. I have not played it first hand, but did watch some parts played on YouTube. Can’t wait to finally see for myself.

Hell, I’ve gone back to Old School and am playing Everquest Project 1999. I swear I do not remember this game being so f~~~n hard! Modern mmorpg’s are made for Snowflakes who’ve had everything given to them. This one is beyond their ken. It is also reminded me how much more angry I am today than I was when I played it 17-18 years ago. I find it a good meter on what to get back too.

Yeah that’s right, a board game with miniature battle mech figures that you moved around by hand. You actually had to make computations and roll dice to determine the success of actions.

Very cool game in which Pete was successful at optimizing Mech design variants and overall tactical game mechanics.
