I just heard the best quote watching mad men today. Thought it would be fun for all those fathers out there.

Bubbles I have a daughter in college now and it don’t seem like that long ago she was birthed.. I can relate..

she posted this online today:  A 5 paragraph essay + 5 page research paper + the history and a recipe over Monte-Blanc… And tons and tons of math… Being a full time college student is overwhelming.

I replied:There are no problems only solutions..Don’t be overwhelmed…Being a carnivore, I have eaten many cows in my lifetime, but never all in one bite…nibble away at it… I love you

I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.

Harpmaster: I tried to be light hearted but of course kids are a touchy subject. Good too keep that daughter on her toes. I spend many hours talking to India about the importance of x/0 is not infinity. They get horrible education out in bangalore. I guess I’d be happy knowing she is getting an education that will probably end up making a difference.

Oh and it’s important to note, don’t trust anyone that doesn’t eat meat 🙂
