I watched Mad Max: Fury Road on DVD. The one thing that bothered me about this movie was: women taking on the traditional roles of men. Why bother putting Mad Max in this film when half of the actual fighting is done by women? Action movies are made for guys in the first place. Most guys aren’t going to take their girlfriends to see this movie just like most of the ladies aren’t going to take their boyfriends to see 50 Shades of Grey. If you’re going to make an action film for guys, make your characters HEROES instead of heroines. The women in these films are supposed to be naked and getting f~~~ed by the main character—not fighting in a battle.
"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)
Based on this and other past comments, I’m not going to watch this movie, ever.
The answer is NO. “I could but I won’t”. Memini murum!
Based on this and other past comments, I’m not going to watch this movie, ever.
Same. I’ve had SOME men tell me to “go see it because it’s still awesome,” but I’ll stick to other action movies, thanks.
I heard women saying it was amazing and how Mad Max 1 was “boring”. But I will not be watching it because I know it’s not amazing, I don’t care about anything feminist and have better things to do with my time than watch what is essentially…junk.
Visually stuning in parts, but Max didn’t actually need to be in it at all really. Glad I didn’t pay any money to see it.

I actually bought “Pain & Gain” the other day. Saw it on Netflix and something about it was good enough to want to watch it a few times and buy it. Found the Special Edition on Blu-Ray for $10 at a Half-Price Books near me (was formerly $24.99). THAT is a good “dude” movie to me. Sure, the main characters are essentially the bad guys, but the way they were portrayed was absolutely hilarious.
Will not watch this movie. I refuse. They took Mad Max and raped it. If it don’t have Mel it ain’t Max.
Then they use this movie to insult all men, insinuating that men started the war that lead to Max’s world. It’s a crock of s~~~ and George Miller should be ashamed of himself.

If someone in the movie industry actually figures out they can make money by making movies guys actually WANT to see, rather than trying to send a propaganda message they think we should see, we might actually get a few good movies.
Do you hear that you self-righeous movie making jackoffs? We’re sick of your s~~~. We’re tired of constantly being told that women can do anything when most of the time they can’t even change a goddamn fan belt or alternator. Or they won’t. Oh they can do everything, but somehow they can’t manage to work the more dangerous jobs out there can they? I’m sick of the implication that there’s some kind of bias in high tech against women when the reality is they never show up to apply for the job, and more often than not when they do their skills are dismally lacking. Whne there are exceptions to this, they get hired. Not because they are women but because they can actually do the job.
I’m sick and tired of movies having to have some kind of f~~~ing political message.
"Data, I would be delighted to offer any advice I can on understanding women. When I have some, I'll let you know." --Captain Picard,
@untamed, good historical summary.
@biggvs_dickvs, Same here. I am not going to see any of Hollywood’s “girls are better than boys” crap. Not me, not nohow, not ever.
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
Another reason why im not watching movies from hollywood for a time being.
Yes, it keeps bring a propaganda about female above male, female is the superior one, male are the slaves, female do the order while male doing female’s order, male should slaving female by marriage, male can be killed in any brutal way while female should kept alive only to disarm them, etc etc etc (you can add more)
Look at what they had done with Jurassic World, they destroying my childhood dream (Jurassic Park) with those utterless nonsense of female nagging, turn the awesome adventure and park wonder into rubbish with nonsensical female nags.
F~~~ hollywood.
