Hello, hello!
I was merely lurking around MGTOW for years and finally decided to start getting more involved. A little backstory on me is that I have an ex who lied about going off of her birth control because she “wanted the relationship to move forward and thought that this was the next step” In my eyes, this should be a form of rape, because I did not give informed consent. I don’t really need to delve further into it though, because we all know that daddy government swept in and took her side.
I am however no longer bitter, just apathetic toward women. “I don’t care.” and “No.” are common statements that I make and I simply ignore them as I’m walking down the street. Women get treated just like men, and no amount of flirting or cleavage will change that. While I’m apathetic, I’m not a dick and I don’t follow the “Levels of MGTOW” stuff that was popular for a while. I don’t believe in most TRP stuff either, but I understand that others have their opinion, and one man’s path in life in MGTOW can vary significantly from another simply due to the many ways that a man can be happy.
Coincidentally, I don’t believe in the levels but my goals in life are inadvertently leading me to what everyone knows as monk mode. Self sufficiency and off the grid living are my dream. I will be practicing intentional asceticism and stoicism in the woods which is something that many women could never handle or would otherwise get bored of due to the lack of distractions in the woods, and the dirty, work filled life of a woodsman. I guess we can chalk another man who would be an excellent, fair and easy going provider off the list of eligible men.
I mean honestly ask yourselves, what do women ever actively offer to men in relationships? I was never one to want the stay at home mother and was one who simply wanted to be with a woman who wanted to share the load and jsut enjoy the ride. What I got was a liar, a cheater, a thief and a slew of women who I dub “The leeches”, or women who offered nothing but half assed blow jobs and sex that devolved from the fun and interesting activity that we both enjoyed to just the motions.
From my experience, I’ve simply grown tired of these women, and I know that 8 women don’t speak of them all but I do know that I really never want to risk it all again like I have in the past. It’s just not worth the stress any more.
Seen ya lurking bro .
Welcome and enjoy

Welcome to the delousing station!
Welcome. Make yourself at home.
Anonymous3Thank you for intro. MGTOW means just that. From posts I read there are many & diverse approaches to living a MGTOW lifestyle.
I have simplified my life. I am a urban hermit, although I am forced to socialize on occasion. My stance is subtle disregard. I take nothing a woman says seriously.
Like you I pay hardly any attention to the various means used to attract a man.
Simply put, I come & go as I please.
Thank you again for intro. Hope you continue to participate.
Stick with the winners.
Stick with MGTOWThe levels arent anything official. It just kind of helps people self check where they are on the spectrum. There is no process, there is no training, there is no system, no formula. No 12 steps. No pledges to recite. No oaths. No mantras. Some terms to know are helpful (AWALT for example).
People are continually growing, at least the ones who are here. Can’t say it is the same for everyone. You can see trends though. Generally the more a guy internalizes the reality of women the less tempted they are by them. Lotsa factors affect this and the timing, age of the guy, how bad hes burned, ongoing s~~~ hes not done with yet, lotsa things. But from a practical point of view, which many more men have due to their logical nature and generally innate desire to understand things, they decide that less interaction with women is the best course of action for them and self preservation and happiness. That takes a lot of different forms and not everyone has the same limits and boundaries. But I believe the ones who have tougher limits (from a sex perspective) are the safest and happiest and deal with the least amount of unnecessary drama.
Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.
@blade: Thanks, I hope to be a good contributor to the discourse that we see.
@MG-ɹǝʍo┴: Roger, will be doing just that. I’ve covered myself in DEET and permethrin doped my clothes, proverbially of course.
@market~~~cher: Too easy, and thanks.
@johnny zero: That’s just it, if I wanted religious zealotry in my life, I would be a church goer. I plan on staying MGTOW until cost benefits change, which is highly unlikely. Women have shot themselves in the foot and have lost all of my sympathy. As the saying goes, they made their bed…
@Secret Agent MGTOW: I agree fully on how the levels metric should be used, but it doesn’t stop others from trying to use them as some kind of mantra. Like I said above, if I wanted to be in a religion, I would. As for the growth of people in relation to us, it’s reactive, and like you say, most men are slowly realizing that interactions with women are mostly worthless, but sometimes harmful to our lives. We as men are beginning to put logical mind over biological matter and just like with marriage rates and the death of the family unit, women aren’t going to realize just how deep this s~~~ is going to affect them and when it does and they ask how things became so bad for women, all fingers will point to them.
Welcome brother. Glad you found Your Way.
Quit looking at my signature, queer-mo.

Hello Cavetroll and thanks for sharing. I believe you left out something I think is rather important all things considered: did your ex get pregnant as a result of her lie to you? From what I know, “daddy government” protects the children as best as it can—and should—from irresponsible parents. In the US, the fight is between pro-choice and the so-called “pro-life”—who define the bliss of sexual orgasm as evil. Revisiting rape laws to include your example of birth control subterfuge is worthy. Fine for the pro-choice folks.

Let the good times roll
@tim941: I should have chosen my words better. She failed to tell me that she was lapsing on her birth control. She then went on assistance for a year after our daughter was born. After that year, MN forces the woman to declare a father or takes the woman off of assistance if she doesn’t. She declared me, and long story short: I had arrears estimated off of my income, the money that was paid by public assistance was dropped, the payment for the paternity test (that the lady who was overseeing the case gave me no option to decline) was waived, and the court fees were waived.
To call me lucky is an understatement given the circumstances, but I’m still paying the price for trusting her.
Let my story be a word of warning to the men who think that church girls are the best. They’re not. Most aren’t virgins before marriage, and most are far s~~~tier that regular women because they have this superiority complex, feel entitled to a housewife life with no work put in by them, and tend to be the first to let themselves go after cake and kids.

Monking is just a conclusion that is reached by the individual, and isn’t exclusively tied to some requirement of being MGTOW. It’s up to the individual to live how they choose to live. The only real requirement of MGTOW is that one maintains their sovereignty and freedom. If you want to pump and dump, if you want to engage in relationships with women, or if you want to be monk, that’s up to you.
