Forgive me if this sounds a bit too bleak, but I’ve always had an issue with the whole love thing and the whole pride thing, and it might not be so inspirational, in fact it’s liable to bum some people out so sorry in advance.
I don’t think love really exists, aside from platonic love anyway. Marriage always seemed like some ethereal dream that over time, no matter what, turns into a nightmare. It’s absurdity of circumstance at its finest. We want and we lust after people, and once we have them, we no longer want them. Feelings change, people change, and you realize that it doesn’t matter who married because in 5 or 10 years, they won’t be the same person. So love it seems is pointless, that’s just the way things are. I am not the same person I was 5 years ago, and given the same time, I won’t be the same person in another 5, 10 or 15 years. Unfortunately I see the world as it actually is, but I still find myself wanting to buy into that ideal of what love is. I’m a hopeless romantic who happens to be a level headed introvert, which is almost as much of an oxymoron as saying a logical feminist. It’s like some days I want to slip back into the matrix and forget about it, ignorance is bliss after all, but I won’t allow myself to do that.
So far as pride goes, I always hear people say: I’m proud to be BLANK.
And I think to myself… really?
I’m proud to be AMERICAN. That’s all fine and good, and I’m certainly no self hating citizen, but why? Why are you proud that your mother s~~~ you out on this particular patch of land instead of on the other side of he world? Sure, living standards are high.
Then they say, I’m proud to be white, black, gay, what ever. Why are people so proud of things they can’t control? I can’t control what color I am, where I was born, or any of that. You should be prideful of things that you can help, things that are in your power to change. I never hear people say “I’m proud to be a good friend, who always helps” Or “I’m proud to donate my time to help feeding the homeless, ect” I’m sure it happens, but it’s all trampled beneath the cacophony of national and racial pride. Sometimes I hate the world, but that’s only when I think things through too hard. Why not be prideful of something that you can actually control?
“I am proud to be a MGTOW, someone who will not be trampled by women, society, and the status quo.” How about that?
Don’t take it the wrong way, fellas, but sometimes I’m too pessimistic for my own good. Maybe we could do with a little less pride in our world, then again, maybe not.

People use pride as a substitute for a lot of things (common sense, hard work, ethics…)
I have no bearing on my race, gender, height etc… I can only take responsibility for my actions, which is what a human should be evaluated by. You are NOT pessimist, but rather a realist. Stay sharp and continue on course!

Meditation Helps Marines Bounce Back After Combat
http://news.discovery.com/human/health/meditation-helps-marines-bounce-back-after-combat-140516.htmSociety asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
People who claim to be “hopeless romantics” are closet narcissists. How into yourselves must you be to sincerely believe that some stranger out there should agree to carry your burden and bring you happiness? “There’s someone out there for everybody….?” How silly would it be if we applied this concept to every other concept in life:
“Oh there’s a nice mutli-million dollar home out there for everyone.”
“Oh, just wait. Some Fortune 500 company is just waiting to hire you and give you their money.”
“Oh, don’t be sad. One day, an insurance agency who doesn’t judge you on your history of car accidents will ignore that and appreciate you for the excellent driver you truly are.”
Apply this to human sexual relationships and couple it with government laws about marriage and you will realize how marriage/long term relationships are for prideful self absorbed narcissists who either have a lot of money or lot arrogance for expecting people just like them to make them happy.
I have discovered a truly remarkable list of reasons why women are not necessary for a happy life, but alas this margin is too small to contain it.
