I don’t know why c~~~s and manginas both make it seem like losing weight is a hard or complicated thing to do. I’ve been on a diet to lose all this extra muscle mass I’ve obtained through bodybuilding/strength training and all of this extra fat I’ve built up along with it.
Oh, and I’m 5’6 if anyone is wondering.
Starting weight:
180 pounds
Current Weight:
163 pounds
I lost that weight in about a couple months at that.
When I was bulking, I was eating about 3,500 calories a day.
I’m now eating between 800-1,500 calories a day.
I’ve dropped strength training completely since then and I’ve started to hike every day. I dropped running simply because my high arches can’t handle the impact.
Right now, I’m hiking 5 miles a day and plan on upping it to about 10 or even 15 miles a day next week.
If you have the right mindset, you can shred pounds easily. Gaining muscle is just as easy if not easier.
Bodytype certainly plays a role in it (I’m a natural ectomorph and my body thrives when doing cardio exercises) But, it f~~~ing struggles in regards to strength training. So, I changed up my training to suit my body type and never felt better.
I don’t know why blue pill cucks and women complain about getting and staying fit. It’s f~~~ing easy and is actually fun once you get into the rhythm of things. Hell, I even still eat junk food whenever I want, just in smaller portions and less often. But for the most part, I just stick to home cooked meals I make myself.

Loosing weight isn’t a matter if, but when! And whom!
The elite and their minions are the ones that have trouble with weight and it isn’t not fat they’re carrying, it’s generational theft they’re carrying!

I’ve got a tough time losing weight. When I got stuck at home back in 2011, I weighed about 80kg (176 lb) and it’s 105kg (230 lb) now. Before all that happened, I didn’t do any sports, I worked at a library so I sat on my ass most of the time and hardly gained weight even after a year of sitting at home.
I don’t snack (save for a standard bag of chips in the weekend), hardly drink softdrinks (only coke when I’m having rum) and don’t care about candy, cookies and all that s~~~. I have to eat 100% glutenfree and while most people lose weight when doing so, I’m only gaining because of the extra sugar in it, like the bread to make it more tasteful.
I’m always really low on energy and can manage to maybe do 3 or 4 walks a week (I don’t consider going to the supermarket a walk, it has to be atleast 2.5km / 1.5 mi to see it as a walk, preferably longer (5 km / 3 mi). Last year after new year’s, I completely stopped drinking and eating chips for 3 weeks and took a 5km walk each day and guess what happened? I GOT FATTER!
Does anyone have any idea what I can do to lose weight without having to pop pills or do whey shakes or whatever the f~~~ you call them? I dunno if weight lifting is part of the solution, but I’m so weak and low on energy that even hanging up the laundry causes my arms to sometimes feel heavy and tired, sigh.
So: no running, no cycling (because even the slighest wind tires the f~~~ out of me) no going to a fitness center because of the noise (my hyperacusis). I have a fitness thing (a bike) I can get on at home, but that thing is boring, plus even the lowest setting tires my legs and get muscle acidification after 2 or 3 minutes…

I find spinach and spirulina is good for energy/strength. Morning porridge with seeds honey also good for stable energy.

Thanks for the tips, but running is completely out of the question since I have a balance disorder.

I bike ride over 2 hours a day (between April and October) and I never shed a pound. I do sweat a lot.
I gained a lot of weight because of medication 6 years ago. I went from 215 pounds January 2012 to 250 pounds by March 2012 because of the side-effects of Risperdal. Now I having a bitch of a time losing the extra weight. I made a New Year’s resolution to lose weight so I can look good with my shirt off by summer.

How can you live on 800-1500 calories per day?
Don’t wanna sound like an ass, but as one ages, it gets harder and harder to lose weight or gain muscle.
Because that’s the way it is. I know and I’ll admit that the fact that I’m overweight is not because I’m old, but just because I like sitting in front of the computer and enjoy tranquility.
Anyway, I’ve eaten my fair share of “comfort” food when I got depressed. Still better than doing drugs. haha
