Hi guys. Here is an honest enquiry. I am aged 50. I have had a receding hair line since aged 18
I was paranoid about my hair loss as I was so worried about not getting a woman.
Now in MGTOW land I had my hair cut today and the game is nearly up. I’m so thin on top.
Even though I’m. Mgtow of course I still want to look presentable.
So, has anyone been in the same position and gone for a buzz cut / shave?
How did it affect your self perception?
    Thanks for any contributions.

Here’s a fact: Your hair (or lack of) matters not with regards to “looking presentable”.

Are you paid to have hair? Then it’s not a problem.

There’s an expression you may have heard: “Actions speak louder than hair”.

    ( smiles )

It’s true. Your self perception and worth will never be determined by the follicles on your head.

My hair isn’t that thin. I went with a buzz a couple of years ago, just to try something new. I have to tell you, it’s so much easier. I grew it back out once since, and immediately buzzed it back off.

Dude, the sexiest man alive is bald. Buzz it down and don’t look back.

^^^ Agreed. I went skinhead only once and due the lack of pigment in my hair (the vanilla kid) my scalp was burned like a lobster! If I could I would shine my head with turtle wax!

The video is actually my advice. I shaved my head when I was 54 and grew out the goatee. It dropped 10 years off my looks. I did notice I got more respect, and if your trolling for a pump n dump it definitely attracts. The downside is you have to shave it, but I get 3 bladed razors from shavemob.com cheap. Caution on the 4 or more blades they tend to cut my head with too many blades.

My hair started thinning about 3 years ago. Although i have hair on top now, i did go for the full shave for about a year.

The headblade razor was the best and just took a bit longer in the shower to give my scalp a shave.

It takes a lot of b~~~~ to go fully shaven but if you’re almost there anyway, you might as well bite the bullet as it will make you look younger and smarter in appearance.

I’m at the stage where i can still get away with the thinner hair but i may go back to fully shaven in a year or two depending on if it continues to thin out more than it already has.

The only atlernative would be a hair transplant.

I have lost my hair years ago and got myself an awesome baseball cap collection over the last few years. Some of us actually look better with a baseball cap on anyway. It was hard accepting baldness but not much can be done about it anyway may as well deal with it.

Ask how this worked out for Yul Brenner, Bruce Willis, Col Wilhelm Klink…sorry about that last one.

I have the same problem and guess what I DON’T CARE—I’m not in a beauty contest.

Not losing hair, but I have super thin hair and both my grandfathers are bald, so my follicles days are almost certainly numbered.

When that happens, I plan to shave all of it. I don’t remember much from Neil Strauss’s The Game but there was one thing Mystery said that I’ve always remembered: “Balding is not a choice. But bald is a choice.”

Tell that to the HR c~~~s I interview with. They judge you on EVERYTHING. Clothes, acne, hair, teeth, everything except that which shows you can do the job.

I lost pretty much all my hair in my 20s…Never really cared.

I use to think until I wasn’t able to get laid I wouldn’t care
    …Now I truly don’t care whatsoever

Actually, noticing how most millennial’s have so much damn hair it does kinda make me think that men with higher testosterone tend to lose their hair (that doesn’t mean they ALL lose their hair), due to so many of these millennial’s being princesses.

I stopped getting a ‘regular’ haircut about eight years ago. About every three months I just get shaved clean, beard and head. It didn’t take any getting used to all. I’m very comfortable with it. You’ll appreciate it even more when working outside on a hot summer’s day.

The extra bonus is the money that I save on shampoo, razors and shaving cream I can now spend on beer…

That’s a fact!! But you can also charm the f~~~ out of them, and win over a man with hair.

Even being white – or male – plays a bigger role than that.
They won’t disqualify on hair. Even when being discriminating.

There is one thing about “life’s not fair” that not many take advantage of….
Making it work in your favor.

I once got a job by telling a joke. The meeting room was frightfully boring and sullen, and the boss said “someone PLEASE tell a joke”…. so I told the MOST OFFENSIVE joke I know. It SHOULD have gotten me kicked out of the room. He laughed so hard, he palmed the table and nearly feel off his chair.

I had that job for 8 years.

Underneath, I was p~~~ed it was that easy. But if their aren’t gonna look at your resume, skills and values…. work that s~~~ another way.

It’s like telling a woman exactly what she wants to hear.
If that’s what she really prefers – and makes all the difference – is it really that hard??

    Work “hard”….. or work smart.

Yep dude, just shave off the remains. Well, true enough it may take some initial conscious effort on your part, especially so the first time you might do it.

Talking from personal experience here: I once did it some few years ago (and I additionally did video document it as well, for yet more of a thrill) and you know what..? Once it was all gone/done, I genuinely was pleased with the end result if only for a few reasons such as: less expenses on shampoo hair gel and all the other lot, also as in “easy-to-maintain-plus-practical-look” and no against all of my own presumption it didn’t do my self presentation and or self perception any harm whatsoever.

Ok, for the record my partial “hairdressing” may meanwhile have grown (more or less) all back fully, but I’ve successfully done it myself once fully consciously so and eventually I strongly intend to do it again, once the hair loss “up top” will continue to progress much further in time, no sweat there…

I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. Back to the plantation..? Me..? Hey, literally: I won't ever fucking kid myself...YZERLMNTSIC

I’m 25 and thinning now. I just use rogaine, but I know eventually that won’t help. I will shave it once I notice my temple hair receding. The U-bowl haircut is a no go for any man. lol

If you need hair on your head for self-confidence or whatever…you have other issues.

Coming from a guy on the Norwood scale of 5A. Started to lose it @26…now 38 and it has stabilized and not 1 grey hair, figure that one out… Clip it each week and ZFG.

I tried the pills/rogaine and all that s~~~ @26 and after 3 months my dick stopped working…so I told the Dr. And here’s the answer he gave me:

    You have 2 options son.
    1. Hair and limp dick.
    2. Hard dick and no Hair.

    Chose #2. Never looked back.

The biggest problem with balding and greying (or both) is that you start to look old and then you get discriminated against looking for work in some fields, or people start calling you ‘sir’ and s~~~ like that.

If you just shave it all off, look at Jason Statham or Bruce Willis types for some inspiration. You’ll look cooler, younger and you’ll probably start acting more confident.

And some of the old guys with the rugs just look completely ridiculous (IMO). Thinking ‘Burt Reynolds’…

@the end of the day, accept your genetic pre-disposition and enjoy the small amount of time you have on this revolving rock.

Whatever you have, always be confident with it.

Words of wisdom from a guy that had 9 beers this afternoon 😉
