I’ve finally just finished Horizon Zero Dawn, loved every minute of it.
I will avoid any spoilers for those yet to play it, but if you like single-player only games this is one of the best.
It’s one of those games where you can play for two or three hours and not even touch a story-based mission. A lot to see and do, all far more interesting than just a vast collectathon.
Yes, the graphics are superb but the sound design also deserves a mention. Excellent use of sound effects and the music is definitely worth a purchase, I hope it comes to vinyl at some point as I don’t really do digital music.
But in my opinion, the best thing about the game is Aloy. One of the best game characters there is. Very unusual to have a female character that is physically strong, independent, strong-willed, and funny.
Throughout the game she has considerable interest from male and (brilliantly) female characters. And she brushes them all aside. Very refreshing.
I also had great enjoyment uncovering the history of what had happened in the game world.
May actually consider getting the Frozen Wilds DLC, which is something I never do.

Someone badly needs to give this simp some red pills.
A couple of the comments at the bottom are funny
Someone badly needs to give this simp some red pills.
An entire bottle of red pills may not help this simp, Jim. I think we should write him off.

ha ha agreed Gambit!
hopefully one day he will realise that sucking up to women won’t get him anywhere but I doubt it
