Hello there,
this is me in short:
– 30 years old
– German, living in Munich
– Freelancer (what I consider the MGTOW of work) in IT
– Hobbies include weightlifting, Go (the board game), saving/investing (with the goal of financial independence), and drinkingI was Googling for ‘mgtow chat’ and was brought here – I browsed around a few times over the last few months, but was too lazy to sign up at first. So I persuaded myself to pay the $5 to access the forums here, because I feel some sense of belonging here.
I hope to find a group of like-minded guys here. These things are hard to talk about in public, because not many others share our viewpoint.
I am also increasingly enthusiastic about founding a local chapter of us, be it a loosely organized group that meets for drinks now and then, or an actual association with some sort of club house (how cool would that be!)
It’s sad that the chat is currently down, since that is what enticed me to sign up in the first place. Does anyone know of another place, an IRC channel or something? I quite like chatrooms.
No Allegiance, I Will Swear no Oath
Welcome bro . Hope ya stick around
THE PLANTATION HAS NOW TURNED INTO THE KILLING FIELDS . WOMAN ARE NOW ROLLING CAMBODIAN STYLE .
I am not sure if there is such a thing, but welcome to the site. The name is unique. It Japanese and means Weasel. I know this, strangely enough, because me and a few friends were playing around with names of people. I think this was in some show one of my friends watched. Anyhow, What brought you to wanting to go your own way?

Welcome, brother! Beers are in the cooler. The chat function is not operational at the moment, however time to time a MGTOW brother would announce a chat session, so you can join in and chat. You could set up a chat and make an announcement whenever you like. This is a good alternative, until the chat feature on this site is back up and running.
A tranquil mind is neither happy nor sad, it is uninfluenced by external conditions.
Yeah, the name originated from a Sepultura song called Kamaitachi. I read about its meaning and immediately liked it.
Anyhow, What brought you to wanting to go your own way?
I came to MGTOW over a detour in the PUA community. I was 18 and unfulfilled, and thought that a lot of sex gave me the self validation I lacked. The pick up community promised to be the magic pill I needed. I had some success there, but it didn’t help with my self perception.
Then I started working on myself first. University, money, self-reflection, physique, reading. I am rather satisfied with myself now.
I don’t actively look for sex or relationships anymore, but if they do happen, then I’ll allow it.
The “going my own way” part applies to all areas of my life. I value independence, flexibility, and personal freedom above everything else. That means:
– No girlfriend that forces me to make compromises in my free time
– No full-time employee jobs that force me to get up when other people tell me to
– Renting instead of owning my home, to be able to move cities or even countries quickly
– Investments that allow me to liquidate and move them around within hours or a few days at most
– Hobbies that can be done almost everywhere and do not depend on large equipment (parachuting?), the seasons (snowboarding), or other people (team sports)No Allegiance, I Will Swear no Oath
Sounds like a bright future ahead of yourself. The worst time to get into a relationship is during your college years. It will derail you in a heartbeat. Keep your focus and your goals that you set already for yourself, you will be in a great position in life.
I am the same in relationships. The last 3 girls I had a fling with approached me. Just be sure to never get them pregnant, never make any promises or commitments, especially written, and if they show signs of feminism, jump ship.
I have never gone parachuting, but I have propelled off very tall walls. I would recommend a musical instrument, as it is proven that they help you focus and help keep the mind from aging as quickly. I play about 5 or 6 myself, but focus on only one right now. Do you go to private airfields for jumping?

Anonymous3Welcome! Simply put, going my own way to me means I come & go as I please & I see you have the right idea about it ( at least from my point of view) Good luck on all your future endeavors.
Stick with the winners

Oh wait, I misphrased that I think. I meant that I don’t like hobbies that cost a lot in money or time, e.g. parachuting (I couldn’t think of a better example). I like small things like the gym or calligraphy.
I also play the guitar and agree with you 100% 🙂 I would have loved to learn the drums as a kid (still would, actually), but life in apartment buildings doesn’t allow for that, unfortunately. Even electronic drums can be heard below. But yes, shredding a little Slayer to relax after a stressful day can be very nice.

Casually getting together is fine, but anything more formal is out of the question.
MGTOW must never become an organisation.
The state regards us as subversives, and any organisation would be targeted by police agents and leftist lawyers.
Leaderless Resistance (no organisation to penetrate, no leaders to smear, eliminate or replace), is the only thing that the enemy fears.

Anonymous3My thoughts exactly Monk. Thank you for expressing that

I probably misread it, but it makes much more sense now, haha. Fantastic hobbies and reasoning. I only play acoustic right now, but have considered going to the dark side. I would enjoy playing some shredder type things. Currently, I play Hotel California and House of the Rising Sun a lot, but mostly my own compositions. Who knows, if the delay isn’t too bad on the chat thing, later, we can do a back and forth, plucking away. I didn’t know about the voice thing until you mentioned it ironically.

When I was a teenager I had long hair, played rock & roll music, and wore an Army shirt with a confederate flag on the back. I considered myself a rebel. Society saw me as a subversive because I was against the Viet Nam war, but for different reasons than my peers. So, I’m used to being seen as a subversive. And yeah, I voted for Trump. F~~~ what society thinks. Welcome to the forum, and if you want to start a local chapter based on guys like us, more power to you. I foresee a day when we will number over a billion members. MGTOW members are already getting together the world over. There’s no stopping us. We are free, motivated, and self assured. It’s nobody else’s business if we choose to party together…as long as we don’t play the music too loud.
"Don't follow in my footsteps...I stepped in something."

Anonymous3There is a constitutional right to assemble & do so if you wish.
I can only say one thing & this is about myself & no one else.
You won’t see me there.Casually getting together is fine, but anything more formal is out of the question.

You touched upon the one thing I was worried about. As soon as the public finds out a thing like a male-only barber shop exists, they force it to shut down.
I thought about how to prevent this, and maybe the only way is the one you described.
Still, it would be nice to meet people for a few beers to talk about things that do actually interest me.

Welcome to MGTOW, Weasel.
Look at these tow statements:
I am also increasingly enthusiastic about founding a local chapter of us,
No Allegiance, I Will Swear no Oath
Do you notice the dichotomy?
MGTOW isn’t a club. There is no membership, no secret handshakes, no rituals.
MGTOW is about you as an individual going your way. It’s about as far from any kind of collectivism as you can get.
Enjoy your stay. There’s almost too much information here in the form of life experiences, anecdotes, and opinions. Check it all out and then go your own way.
Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.
Casually getting together is fine, but anything more formal is out of the question.

Welcome, Itachi. I think a local chapter would be very nice. I keep forgetting that many here are from countries all over the world. Here in the U.S. there would be no problem with a men only club.
The evil in women’s hearts leaves them no moral bounds as to inhibit them from descending to the lowest levels of darkness to acquire their self entitled desires.

Anonymous0Hi dude ^^ I live near Fráncfort, IT too, 26 jahre alt weightlifter guitarist exPUA too. Our lives correlate. I do not speak much German yet, though. (From Barcelona)
Would love a chat working too.Get a Discord!
Nice to meet you, Itachi ^^
Welcome
A MGTOW is a man who is not a woman's bitch!
No chapters. We are not an organization. We do not hold weekly meetings or take collections, we do not mobilize to protect, or get active in our communities. We are a band of brothers only in that we connect on a deeper level, and work to help our fellow man through troubling times.
Greetings I,
Appreciate your introduction. It is a fine example of how a free man writes an Introdiction.
Many thanks for establishing your Bonafides (the general actions you do as a free man).
Your perspectives, explanations, and life choices are good examples for other men.
Cheers on playing the guitar.
For me it always feels great to sing, especially the music of my ancestors. Those Irish rebel songs are awesome.
It took me years to get over my fear of singing lead, it was safer to sing back up and/or harmonies.
My music “habit” was part time. My mediocre skill set with wood winds, drums, and vocals was never good enough to make a living on or be a “professional” musician. But, I kept it up anyway and now I understand that the time I spent making music also made me better in my professional life.

What happens when a man finally comprehends the cold and calculating thoughts that are going through a woman's mind, while her eyes are brimming with tears?
