I am seeing reports that college educated females have a 90% divorce rate.

Can anyone provide a source or link for this stat.

Well, unfortunately 84% of statistics are made up on the spot… but according to studies conducted at oxford university, a whopping 98% of statistics that immediately follow a reputable sounding source, are believed without question.

90% sounds high… I’d believe 79-83% without immediately calling BS.

I need more evidence for this study before i believe it. Also what evidence is there that college increases divorce rates aside from one study? women will divorce with or without college.

It’s not so much fake as misrepresented. College educated women are overall actually less likely to get divorced than non-college educated women. However for those women that do get divorced, among the college educated it’s something like 90% of the divorces are initiated by the woman. However among the non-college educated it’s something like 80% of the divorces are initiated by the woman anyways, so the increase among the college educated is not all that significant.

Basically all it means is that among hypergamous female divorcées, the college educated ones are slightly more hypergamous.

So while it’s an argument against marriage, it’s not as big an argument against marriage as some are making it out to be.

As if we needed more arguments against marriage.

Smoke and mirrors that’s all it is guys.

Neither articles are fake but it is obvious that the bloging posts like majority of them are female orientated. The sad thing is that the idiot females are trying to make the divorce rate look like some sort
a victory in name of feminizm. Pathetic.

The law review makes no mention of 90% divorces initiated by women at any stage and as expected, female bloggers are saying “you have to read between the lines” bulls~~~ when
unable to provide proper statistics. Lets not forget, it was just a review to start with and just
because it may have been done by law firm/society it means jack s~~~.

I find it wryly amusing that a video from divorce attorneys is listing all the ways to reduce the probability of divorce, but without listing what increases the probability of divorce or even giving the overall probability of divorce.

What they don’t say is often more important than what they do. Giving those figures might discourage marriage, and they don’t get paid if you don’t get married.

Someone needs to dig up a source for the rate of divorce and sex of initiator for marriages between a college educated women and a non-college educated man.

That’s why I wrote (smoke and mirrors).
I simply could not trust any reviews or statistics unless they were done by government or reputable
organisations. Even then it needs to be scrutinized considering numbers can be jiggled to represent
    something other than actual fact.

That YouTube was made by a law firm and law firms make money from divorces. (Thats like dentists recommending Colgate that fights cavities that causes them to hardly have any business.) I would say that this law firm reversed all the statistics for their own benefit.
