Genius! Motor torque off the line and engine for higher end and generation. That reminds me of all the math I had to do for my motorized pedal car, I wanted around 20 mph @4,000 rpm (single forward speed and reverse) it could go much faster but I needed low end power to accelerate from 0 mph. I wanted a Tecumseh 3 speed but it wouldn’t fit. Brings back allot of memories, nice post Dave!

No gear box to speak of and that is very exciting for an old airframe PowerPlant mechanic turn stock broker
