Am reading in “The Manipulated Man”

and this quote just really struck home:

“At that moment, man would be delighted to cease all activity (after realizing freedom and choosing a path), but because he is a man and it is man’s destiny to act, he begins to long for the rules of his childhood, to long for someone who will tell him what to do, to give meaning to his now meaningless actions. These actions are meaningless because they service his comfort but what does he serve? At this point he will search for a new deity, one to take the place of his mother, the deity of his childhood. The moment he finds her, he becomes her abject slave.”

This really strikes home. Coming from an abusive household where my mother was beaten frequently along with us children, my abject goal was to make my mother happy. This later translated into an abject goal to make women happy, turning me into a slave where I did whatever they asked to make them happy… even when it didnt and they ignored me for it…

Damn… am enjoying reading this even if it is opening my eyes to how I became ‘plugged in’.

No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.

Interesting. It applies to some extent to me too. I think I should read that book.

I’ve heard that men in positions of power will often seek out the services of a Dominatrix for that very reason.

Lifes a bitch, but you don't have to marry one!

I kind of used to be like that until I’ve finally admitted to myself that women have never been and will never be happy with themselves regardless of the s~~~ you pull off for them. They’re too emotional, unpredictable, have a million varieties of mood swings and highly insecure that if you keep giving in to their demands they will want more and more to ratify that twisted complexity of theirs.

That’s when I had enough so now I just hump and dump.

    It’s a powerful book.

I read it three times. And I wish it wasn’t so bitter to accept but the truth is ugly.

Also look at ‘the predatory female’.

My goal would have been to kill the beater. I don’t put up with that kind of bulls~~~ at all.

I have read the book. It opened my eyes. It wasn’t long after that I joined this site and became a paying member.

Women's brains and vagina have one thing in common. There is nothing in there until a man puts something in there.

I havnt read the book, but the real title shouldn’t be the manipulated man, it should be women are c~~~s.

It was written by Esther Vilar – a woman.
Kevin Solway made a good article on her.
