I’m new on this website, and, as I type, I’m feeling a bit nervous to start this discussion since it’s my first time and english is not my first language, but I’ll try my best to start a good discussion.

Hello everyone, my name is Dreyfus101. I’m aspiring to be a writer, so I read and write a lot, and I consider myself well-versed in authors such as Poe, Lovecraft, Tolkien, Jules Verne, Frank Herbert and many others. I’m also a cinephile, music lover, a casual appreciator of art, and a hardcore gamer.

In recent days I’ve been seeing feminists tainting these forms of art to promote their sick and outdated movement, coopting people on the process, and forcing people like writers to bend to their needs.

I’m using this opportunity to raise awareness towards that.

I’ve made a blog on tumblr to share my thoughts and show others my writing skills while sharing my taste in music and art, but I wouldn’t know that that site is riddled with SJWs and feminists. These people have been trying to make writers to join their insanse cause, by using guilt-tripping posts and fake information, some times even forcing writers who are against their movements by using threats, doxxing, and hate mail. I’ve heard rumors of feminists setting people’s pets on fire too, but I’m not sure if that’s true.

I’ve even considered dropping writing, but then I found MGTOW and I’m back on track again.

So, I’d like to hear your thoughts about this.

Nice. I think we’re going to get along, friend. I’m a comics guy primarily, but I think we have a few overlaps interest!

I have a lot of favorite artists who use tumblr…that place is a trap for anyone who isn’t drinking the Fem-Kool Aid, I swear. There’s a few cool cats, though (Matt Ruins Feminism’s S~~~ is my favorite. Not MGTOW, but definitely a part of the patriarchy, haha).

No joke. It’s just co-opting bulls~~~ to pander to their sense of entitlement.

Make what you love to make, man. All the greats gave the finger to women’s expectations of them; you’re just following in the footsteps of the legends. I myself am having trouble with writing, but I feel like MGTOW has helped me by making me want to get out of my comfort zones and explore what the world really has to offer. If you love it, do it.

@dreyfus101 No judgement here! Your English is better than my German. And German is officially my first language(!) as a child.

Nobody would be able to tell English isn’t your first language.
This is a place where you don’t ever need to start out excusing yourself for anything.

Recently, I made a typo online (in English) and some grammar Nazi tried to tell me I was “illiterate”. So I responded in German, and then in French… and then asked her how many language she speaks. She disappeared so fast she left smoke trails.

Welcome to MGTOW and please feel right at home. You’re among friends here.

I have no affinity for modern culture anymore. Everything is a mockery, an anti-art with no substance other than to offer empty, momentary distraction.

The Children of Doom... Doom's Children. They told my lord the way to the Mountain of Power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the Earth... Ha! Time enough for the Earth in the grave.

Yeah most of the new stuff is junk, there are times when it’s not, but those are getting rarer and rarer. Only thing to do is to look to the past.

Much of that junk is because of the prevailing attitude that simplicity, rationality, and logic are instruments of patriarchal oppression.

Feminists and their handlers are cultural vandals, they take the great things we are known for, defile and make a total mockery of them.

That’s OK Rennie, we take and drag them through the muddied waters of plane truth, then put them on display for the pooch f~~~ers they really are! Men may be pigs <thank-you><thank-you very much> but this pig won’t ever touch a dirty filthy c~~~-hopping slop-swallowing mud-dripping beastly modern woman…….

I do think that that’s not going to last, not only because culture and art are always changing, but because those thoughts are so mudane and shallow. Give it 3 years (5 years tops) and they’ll start mocking the anti-art and go back on doing more decent stuff.  Hell, I bet those retarded activits demanding to have more cast diversity on movies and games will shut up as soon as they realize diversity is NOT a seal of quality.

And there’s also a growing backlash against feminist and SJW demands, so I bet these will last less longer than I thought.

The entertainment industry money machine basically said f~~~ it when it comes to attempting to create a product with any redeeming value in order to make it more palatable. Now it’s just full on wall to wall s~~~ with no attempt at hiding that fact.

    ChaosOverAll:

Hollywood has long lost anything resembling imagination and originality.  Look at how many movies and TV shows that are produced nowadays that are “reboots” or poor re-makes of far better works from the past.

One example was that dreadful rubbish from a few years ago, The Flight of the Phoenix.  The only good thing about that version was the flight scene from the opening credits.  The original movie was an intense masterpiece with an unbeatable cast.  It was one of James Stewart’s best performances and it was made even more authentic because he was a private pilot himself.

Of course the re-make had to be politically correct.  It included a female oil worker all dressed in spandex.  You can imagine what the rest of the movie was like.

Jimmy Stewart was more than just a private pilot. He was a WW2 Bomber Pilot who volunteered for service (putting his Hollywood career on hold) and even hired the studio trainer to get him into shape to pass the physical because at 33 he was considered too old to qualify as a flight cadet (fortunately he already had his commercial license). While in the Air Corps he was assigned to recruiting duties like other Hollywood personalities, but instead of taking that safe, cushy gig he kept pushing for combat duty until he was finally sent over to Europe. He not only commanded a bomber there, but was often flight leader. He flew not only his own missions but also flew extra missions under the table, and after his rotation was over he voluntarily stayed on to continue fly uncredited missions. After the war he was instrumental in setting up SAC.

So Major General James Stewart wasn’t just a private pilot.

    He was The Man.

Sorry for going on about this, but not enough people know how big a Badass and True American Hero Jimmy Stewart was. They only know about George Bailey. The loss of good men like Jimmy Stewart is one of the main reasons why Hollywood sucks so badly these days.

Hollywood has been suffering declining ticket sales for many years, and the TV networks have been suffering declining viewership for longer. Somehow, they cannot figure out that the public wants something, or things, that they are not providing. Much has been written about this, even in their own trade publications, but to no avail.

I stopped feeding my money to the monster many years ago. Why should I watch their low quality crap, when the library and bookstores are full of high quality crap instead?

Stewart wasn’t the only one. Quite a few stars from the US and GB dropped their careers to serve in combat roles. Others honestly tried, but were sidelined for medical reasons. I can’t picture most of today’s “action heroes” giving up the good life to risk so much as a career setback, let alone their very lives.

Don’t I know it. Another one is Sir Christopher Lee. I’d mention his exploits here, but I don’t think anyone would believe me. Even the stuff that isn’t still sealed. There’s a man who is far, far scarier in himself than any role he’s ever played, and that includes Dracula and a Sith Lord. Don’t get me wrong, he’s someone I would love to go have a beer with, but even today at 92 I wouldn’t want to meet him suddenly in a dark alley.

    Christopher Lee is The Man.

And that ain’t helping Hollywood. An actor can’t play a characters with character if he, himself doesn’t have any.

Didn’t that asshole Tom Cruise try to compare his acting roles to military service?

Funny you should mention Tom Cruise. I was going to use him as an example of how far Hollywood has fallen, but deleted the sentence at the last minute because f~~~ Tom Cruise.

I didn’t know about this “being an actor equals being a soldier” bulls~~~, but it sounds like just the sort of thing that overblown bats~~~ insane jackass would say.
