So today I just switched my machine over to Manjaro Linux. It’s faster than expected. It’s even quicker than Debian for me anyway.
I also love Manjaro because it’s a rolling release and it has a reputation of being called “Arch Linux for the lazy people.” That saying couldn’t be further from the truth.
For those of you who don’t like Flash, it does have it installed by default, although, you can always uninstall it.
Next week, I plan on installing a Windows virtual machine on this as well. So at least that way, all my needs are met and I’ll never have to use another Windows machine as my main computer ever again.
I just wished more people switched over to Linux. It’s even faster than Windows in a lot of ways.
Arch Linux (and long time Linux user) master race reporting in.
Personally I have always enjoyed Ubuntu. Its sorta an odd duck which suits me fine. I put it on all my older computers and its like giving them a “5 hour energy” shot. 🙂
It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion, it is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shaking, the shaking becomes a warning; it is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.
You will all bow before the power of Fedora!!!
[Obligatory zealotry for my distro du jour]

Ubuntu-Mate here. Highly modified of course.
Don't stick your dick into anyone you aren't willing to put up with for eighteen years and nine months.
My latest is Mint & FreeBSD. Pretty much have had every flavor at some point or other but have sort of lost interest in spending time tweaking linux distros.
Just installed manjaro lxqt on an older Compaq Presario CQ56 (AMD V series V140 / 2.3 GHz, 1GB RAM) and am extremely impressed at how quickly it responds.
Long time FreeBSD user – posting from it right now.
Arch Linux/Centos user here.
