I work with a lot of lads the same age. We’re all earning good money,but they all do the same s~~~. Getting cars on s~~~ finance deals, credit left right and centre, settling down with entitled young biatches etc etc.

I’ve seen it all before. I’m nearly 40 now, I’ve nearly lost my home three f~~~in times (recession and redundancy), I’ve never had credit and I don’t get these kids attitude. The only reason I didn’t lose the house is because I did everything from sweeping the streets to cleaning toilets. And every other s~~~ job in between. December 2010 I literally had £40 after bills. What a great Christmas that was.

No doubt your mates missus is trying to get him to plunge his money into one of these government housing ponzi schemes like Help to Buy or some other debt creation scheme for the financially f~~~ing illiterate.

As for a BMW/Audi…pile of s~~~e. Why get into debt to buy an unreliable s~~~box that every other muppet (that knows f~~~ all about cars) drives? My ex missus moaned and bitched about getting a nice car…I dropped her off at a second hand dealer in the middle of Burnley and told her to scour the trade ins. She ended up with a decent 7 yr old Nissan note. Cost (2 years ago) just over £2000. With FSH.

Can’t beat the Japanese for cars in my opinion. I’ve got a Mitsubishi colt myself never let me down. Not that I could afford anything better. At 22 the insurance is too high! The Nissan GTR will have to wait!

Good man. The Colt is a decent car. Driven one back from east coast last year…good comfy car with a bit of poke under the bonnet.
Jap all the waaay. I got the Auris SR. Easy to service. Doesn’t break down. Goes through snow. Made in England (to Jap specs). If it was practical I’d save for a GT86…but where I live gets a LOT of snow in winter. And the ex would think I’m rich and screw me for everything!

Its insane how common it is. I see it all the time with guys I work with who all make 100k+ a year. As soon as they get a job making good money, its like they instantly have to inflate their life style. Time for a nicer car, a nicer place to live, etc…but they have to have it all now and do it all on credit, so in the end the benefits of a higher salary get completely wasted when you dig yourself a deep hole. The amount of guys I know who spend more money on interest payments in a year than they set aside for retirement is insane.

That’s the reason I’m getting a Pontiac, not a Corvette (same drivetrain though). If my ex drags me into family court, she’ll probably get awarded about $1k per month in child support more than I’m paying right now.

I work a construction job with a decent wage. Lads here do the same. They buy lease cars for nearly £40k that they’ll never own. They buy houses they can just afford that they hardly see due to working away from home all the time. They buy designer clothes, smoke, have champagne nights out in town, go to the casino and take drugs. They earn decent money but blow it all and go on expensive holidays to boot. It is all for image and it is destructive. Some are married and some have kids. Discovered MGTOW whist working here and I have always respected money (never had it) but my eyes have been opened big time to their relationships and their frivolous life decisions.
