The more important story in this article is about racism in the 1950’s but it is also a good reminder of how women consider lying a sport, even 60 years ago.

    Fine post and article.
Ironically, Atticus in “To Kill A Mockingbird” had no wife, granted, he was a widower.

I have trouble breathing when watching that clip.
“The poor bastard (figuratively in a good way)and the lying c~~~.” – a story retold how many times / examples / ways / Fortunately, we get to be like Atticus and stand up for what is right.

It astonished me how my ex-wife became a pathological liar, overnight, after she left me. What I’m slowly starting to realize is that she was a pathological liar (just like her mother, incidentally) before she left.

That clip is interesting because it shows another typical trait: when a woman is exposed for lying, she almost always resorts to verbal abuse and screeching.

My ex-wife did this any time I tried to use reason and logic. I even have one whole argument recorded on my phone. I remained calm and even-toned throughout while she swore, insulted, threatened, and yelled at me. Of course, if I had said half the things she said, I would have been crucified as a violent, abusive, misogynist man.

Anyway… I love To Kill A Mockingbird. I first read the book when I was about 12 or 14 I think. It ought to be a good antidote to the SJWs but unfortunately the message would probably escape most of today’s millennial snowflakes.
