    A.K.A the “pink tax”

    http://qz.com/579879/women-you-should-probably-buy-the-mens-version-of-that-beauty-product/

The complaint is that products for women cost more than men’s counterparts. The article already explains why (more expensive ingredients) but still it’s somewhat men’s fault. So what’s in our future? A more expensive shaving foam because otherwise women can’t afford their unicorn extract shampoo?

No more unicorn extracts in shampoo. You want man prices. You wash yourself with unscented goop like us.

but still it’s somewhat men’s fault.

How the f~~~ is it mens’ fault that women are stupid enough to waste money on products filled with crap they don’t need?

Women pay more because they are willing to pay more, and they’re willing to pay more because they likely didn’t do the work to earn the money they are so gleefully wasting. So how is it a “pink tax” on women when it’s likely a man who labored to create the wealth they are spending?

This should actually play right into the Earth Mother lesbian feminist fantasy World. All women should just stop shaving their legs, conditioning their hair, and all other maintenance on their bodies. I mean those mean MGTOWs don’t want anything to do with them, so they should just come for loving from people who have all the same equipment… and they don’t mind a little body hair.

Sarcasm off. Sorry guys that key is a little to close to the rest of the keyboard. I’m sure that a man could develop a synthetic substitute in a chemistry lab somewhere to outperform all of the expensive natural components, but it would probably be bad for the environment some how like microbeads.

The article was written from the point of view that women are forced to use the products at all, which is faulty logic at best and an outright lie at the worst.

Women who are taken care of compare how much they can get their simps to spend on them. Purses, shoes, cars and more; they couldn’t even tell you why one is better than the other except for the fact that one costs more.

I failed to realize in my youth that I was the prize. I was going to work. I was going to earn. Little did I realize that due to feminism, that no longer meant I had to share. Road soon, Desert after.

I can’t wait for Lavender scented men’s shaving cream. Refuse it. You’re a misogynist.

Most if not all things I buy are gender neutral, so I don’t have to worry about that s~~~ either way. I have no problem using pink razors if they’re cheaper.

A man doesn’t buy something unless he needs it and then he does a cost analysis in his head to make sure that he is getting his money’s worth. A woman buys something because some person that she has never met, in another part of the world, says that she should (for some BS reason) so she does. Marketers know this and that’s why that a lot of the time, marketing and advertising are aimed at women and children. Then they mark it up as well because they know that the women will pay it. It’s not a gender or pink tax, it’s a stupidity tax.
It’s not our fault cupcake, you were born that way.

    I use a unisex douche…
My nephew worked at a big-name cosmetic maker. They sell little bottles of moisturizing jizz for 80 bucks a bottle. Only one chemical known that actually “moisturizes” skin is urea, one of the ingredients in urine. I guess they use unicorn p~~~.
I guess I am not very “metrosexual”, as I use Barbasol, Suave, and Old Spice stick. Of course, I mostly wear Carhartt clothes too, so I’m not really in the unicorn p~~~ market.
They’ve been trying for years to get men to buy more creams, gels, powders, and scents at high prices for years. Some guys (or their owners) are buying, but the high prices are having a hard time gaining acceptance. The Axe commercials with all the young manginettes in the spiked hair are a big sign, but I don’t see as many of those as I used to.
Of course women blame men. Women feel like the HAVE to do all that beauty s~~~ to please men, despite the fact that men usually don’t give a s~~~ or even notice. Kind of like a goddamned $3,000.00 handbag. Women hate to admit that it’s really to impress other women. It has to be men’s fault.

That’s has to be one of the most infuriating and frankly oppressive phenomena of our age. Blame me for things women do to each other.

I realize we’re all here because we are going our own way, but I think this is one of the things that really deserves a “voice” or some activism/advocacy in the public arena.

Blaming others for your own shortcomings is usually a sign of delusion and desperation. The only time this is done with men in mind is when they want to catch the eye of the .001% top thunderdicks. The idea that somehow the nearly invisible mass of the rest of MANkind is responsible is patently offensive.

It’s not my fault women don’t wanna leave the house unless they have 300 bucks of shampoo, perfume, and makeup caked on. F~~~ em. It’s the free market. Jack the prices of this stuff up, and men just won’t buy it.

I’m allergic to some blends of perfumes .. if I get into an elevator with one my chest tightens and when I get out on sidewalk I actually need to spit a couple of times just to recover. I can taste that cruddy oily perfume smell in my throat for about an hour. I believe the more expensive ones affect me the most. If I smell the stuff on somebody waiting along side me at elevator door .. I usually walk away and take the stairs.

I have a single bottle of “body wash” in my shower… I use it for washing everything, including the shower walls themselves.

I use an electric dry razor or a blade with the body wash and brush my teeth with Colgate. I use an unscented hair wax to keep my hair out of my face, when it’s not cut short in the summer.

That’s about it. I’ve seen women’s bathrooms where there are literally a dozen bottles in the shower alone… like they need a different kind of soap for each kind of skin or something?

To hell with them, I use Lava soap to shower with, Head and Shoulders shampoo and my dads old Gillette safety razor from the 60’s. The only thing that’s close to a woman’s product is my Noxzema shaving cream, but I only use that because it keeps my psoriasis in check.

The reason for the price differential is very simple – females are profligate and dim-witted; marketing to them is like shooting fish in a barrel.

A man doesn’t buy something unless he needs it and then he does a cost analysis in his head to make sure that he is getting his money’s worth.

Close. What he actually does is make sure he’s getting his labor’s worth. Because that’s what the money actually represents to him. He knows how much he had to work to get it, and he knows how much he’ll have to work to replace it.

But not women. Women don’t value the money they spend because by and large they didn’t earn it. It represents no labor cost to them. How do we know this? Because for all their bitching and whining that they don’t get paid as much as men, women still account for the vast majority of consumer spending. And if they get paid less while spending more, they can only be spending money that someone else earned.

It still hurts most of the men in the end because let’s face it c~~~s don’t buy anything with their own money.

This. Women don’t just spend money they haven’t earned, but for the most part they simply waste it.

Which is just another reason to never give them any.
