Honestly, I could give f~~~ all if a Wrestler is gay or not. When they are on stage, we are there for the entertainment and laugh factor.
However, getting SJW’s involved in any aspect of training or seminars for “sensitivity” training is just f~~~-all stupid and will annihilate their ticket sales.

that is the Stephanie McMahon affect. She used to be normal but over the last few years she has turned into a chip on the shoulder feminist bitch. She belittles all of the male wrestlers and they have no comeback on her (in classic wrestling storylines the heel should always get beaten down but she never does) and people hate her for it

she gets booed week in, week out and the best part is you can see it bothers her

but I wouldn’t worry about killing it off as the wwe are doing a good job of that themselves with falling ratings and less interest in the product overall outside of the hardcore fans

I don’t know what demographic they are shooting for now. Wrestling’s fan base has pretty much always been men who just want to watch the big meat heads do crazy s~~~ in the ring, or goofy s~~~ good for a laugh outside of the ring. Watching two dudes do gay s~~~ probably isn’t going to rate very high with the traditional fan base, and I doubt they’ll end up pulling in many new viewers who weren’t watching before who suddenly became very interested because they introduce a gay tag team or whatever.

From time to time I like to watch some fake ass wrestling. Not for the intended entertainment, but to see how stupid some of the plot lines are.

I’ll pop on there to see some dumb bulls~~~ about Vince McMahon faking his own death to cut a promo. WTF? Random bulls~~~. Then I have a chuckle and turn it off. It’s like a soap opera turned to 11, and I have to see what crazy s~~~ they came up with to sell tickets.

I don’t know, Dana White just sold it and besides it’s having it’s share of controversy these days as well esp amongst it’s cat fighters division.

I used to watch wrestling when it was the no holds barred f~~~ your sensitivities WWF!
They had characters that made fun of everyone
from cross dressers ( Goldust) to Mid East dictators ( Iron Sheik)
The story lines and managers were hilarious too
Nothing was sacred or out of bounds
I’m glad I stopped watching when I did
