I came across this clip of JFK and could see the contrast to how the leadership model has changed.

Here JFK is a leader who shows passion, knowledge, and authority. Perhaps a time where being a President meant having true power. The words carry weight.

Comparing to Obama, we get snippets, well rehearsed talking points, with cheering of audience in the background, a dumbing down of world events. It strikes me all as a sitcom. Obama as a good actor. Almost concerning now that it is becoming more and more transparent that the Presidency is serving the hidden agendas of those behind the scene.

Granted the man has charisma, it hardly seems like we have a statesman but more of an entertainer. People love it.

    Times sure have changed.

You are right; I agree completely.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

The contrast could not be more clear. And these men are the leaders of the same political party – one that I have supported for much of my life. But I was never that impressed with the current occupant of the Whitehouse and did not vote for him either time (sat it out in 2008 and went Green in 2012). To me, he is too programmed and manufactured. I was only a few months old when Kennedy was inaugurated in 1961. But looking at the historical footage and reading about him, only further establishes what most of us know to be true. He had substance and knowledge and was qualified for the job he was elected to do. Substance is no longer required for political success. It’s all about Style. Well, Style may be good if you are a PUA or modeling clothes, but it won’t help much when formulating a foreign policy decision, drawing up a budget or most everything else which falls to the presidency. Whether you support him or not – and I know many on this site probably do not due to his leftist leanings – Bernie Sanders is the only candidate I have seen who in every communication has stuck to the issues. He is a rumpled 74 year old man with little charisma. But he respects his audience. No matter what ideology or party, we should only be willing to accept men and women such as this in our politics. Anything less is not worthy of such a preeminent nation.

JFK made some amazing speeches. Quite a few still bring a tear. Probably because we will never hear the like again.

Unfortunately the media and ‘them’ now control the robot mouthpiece we call president or prime minister.

My trust in them is zero.

    I miss JFK.
