When I saw the title, I expected that only the edges of the road will be painted, not the entire road itself, the paint will wear off very quickly and the roads will look ugly as f~~~ and that’s ignoring the glare this road will produce.

Side bar: When I owned a home,one of my neighbors got those highly-reflective windows and it reflected all the head and light onto my property. It basically eroded the paint on my house and I had to repaint every other year. It also made the master bedroom, which had a grand window on that side of the house, ungodly hot year-round. I had to invest in blackout curtains to block all that heat.

I don’t know about you brothers, but in a really sunny day, it will be a hell for a guy like me to drive in a road like that without sunglasses.
This is how they could have solved the problem.

AC in your car, AC in your house, trees in the streets, no need to burn tax payers money on something that will blind everyone.
What about homeless people ? Just let them hangout at malls and other places that have AC and they will be fine.
