I looked at wiki on this. I admit it could interesting.

It seems that hollywood and music is making a comeback of 1980’s genres. At this rate by 2020 we will have seem or heard a remake, or rehash of every 1980’s culture reference at least once in the last few years.

If only they would break back the 1980’s retro clothing. There was style there. Likely the last decade with style for the U.S.

One could make the argument that the first Deadpool movie was a more awesome remake of the 1987 film, Cobra. All those axes in the Cobra film and all we got was a s~~~ty little knife fight at the end of the movie. Ryan Reynolds fixed that with the first Deadpool movie.

Johnny should have been the real protagonist. Martial arts prodigy poisoned by his teacher to be a ruthless killing machine, rescued by Miyagi and shown the better path to inner peace. Gives up in the Last round of the tournament to spite the former teacher, for whom he was registered to fight.

Just finished the series (side effect of Google Music is free YouTube Red). It’s actually pretty good. Johnny creates most of his own problems. I do have a problem with Danny’s daughter basically being 2D and infallible, but otherwise pretty good.
