Kids today learn nothing from their mothers.

How many of you think that installing something as simple as an Amazon Fire Stick would be easy? Could Anyone do it? What about our Son’s? Well…. Not so much.

I won’t lie about how smart kids can be today. But what I am seeing is all the Practical skills are just gone or missing.

Today, I had my son help me out with a few projects. One of them of the bat was Installing an Amazon Fire Stick. You know? Its no wonder how dumb people have become today. Not everything is Plug and Play. For 10 minutes he could not figure out that you needed to press the HDMI Input on the TV so that it would show up after you plugged it in.

Something so Simple 2 decades ago is so out of reach for some people.. Whoa. I had A GREAT time making fun of him and told him I would watch that movie of him doing this when I’m in the Old folks home.

My point is? Kids are not being taught anything that is useful in the real world. Nothing. Sure they can Play very advance video games. But do something like use dads credit card, or simply plug in something into a TV seems like some High tech skill.

I’m kind of sad of the progression. At 8 years old when he was living with me, he was hacking and rooting his Android tablet. Now… I have to teach him this stuff all over again. In fact, much of the wonder and excitement is gone. That’s what Mothers and the system does in my opinion. Its Saps all the life out of kids today.

So then We worked on a PC that seemed to have a Bad power supply. Well, turns out the Motherboard is bad. Its over 14 years old. The nice thing about buying top of the line stuff is that it still worked GREAT today. I still have Dell systems from 2000 that still work great as FIle servers. But its time to retire some of these old things.

Anyways… So while we were breaking down the machine, I was seeing just how hard it was for him to simply take out Molex connectors and things like that. Its amazing how much kids don’t get to do tactical things with their hands. I’m not surprised that most kids don’t want to work on cars. Who is going to teach them? Who has?

Its a shame really. But it took a LOT of time to simply teach him some tips and tricks about working around a motherboard.

I had an extra Dell System that was pretty much new, so we installed that in. I asked him How many Hard drives he saw. But for some reason he missed 1 of them. So I laid it in him thick! “SON!, Its like going to a titiy bar and not seeing boobs. HOW CAN YOU MISS IT?” 🙂 I hummed the Jeopardy theme song till he found it.

We had lots of laughs. But its these small things that matter in life. These small things teach kids. You don’t see that going on in schools today. And its not going to get better. Heck only now are men pulling their kids out of school for having to share the bathrooms etc. Or that stupid Gender Bulls~~~. About time if you ask me.

I can’t stress enough that KIDS need to KNOW about the TOOLS they use and how to fix them. If a Kid plays on a computer? I URGE YOU to teach him how to SET IT UP FROM SCRATCH! I mean build the thing from SCRATCH!

All this learning and knowledge is useless. Let the women absorb that crap. Let the YOUNG MEN LEARN HOW TO KEEP IT WORKING! It amazes me just how little young men today actually know how to do.

I know today we just call a tech or whatever. But how is that going to help the young men of today? I have seen so many kids grow up without skills its amazing. And they have no reason to learn. Its horrible.

Sadly, young women don’t see value in that kind of stuff. So of course, young men are pulling away further and further away from learning things that will really make their lives better in the long run. Like it or not? Pussy sure was a great motivator.

We got men today that will simply never launch. In fact the problem is so bad, there are DOZENS of men that are Aimless. They know how to Load up netflix, but god forbid if something stops working.

With all the ills that we already have today, young men are never going to find this until we get them out of their system. And that will only happen when men regain control of the School systems. And I do mean that don’t buy into that WEAK crap about all this STUPID diversity University crap. They teach nothing useful.

Women are teaching MEN how to be women. THat’s not working. So why are we still allowing women to do it?
Our nations are DYING MEN!

The only good news is that WE MGTOW men are doing great! TOns of work. TOns of opportunities. TOns of good things ahead for us.

But for those of us that have son’s, and family members that we care about? We need to make sure they learn from us.

I would like to ask something from you men this year. I would like you to take time to teach a Young man in your life about life. I mean it. Not just words. BUT REAL SKILLS. Teach them the Basics in order to keep a Lawn Mower going. How to adjust a weed wacker. How to make things they need. How to work on cars, or just install simple things in a home.

If you don’t teach your children? Someone else will. And they have nothing good to teach them. Just what they want them to learn. To consume, and do nothing.

It’s time we put an end to that.

Before I retired early, I took on an apprentice – I had too much work on. Taught him how to Plaster walls and ceilings, Fit and hang doors , Tile walls & floors , Laying wood flooring & Decking, Plumbing ( water not gas ), Decorating.

Still talk to him now and then – gone self employed mainly decorating now ( Painitng ) , but got more work on than he can handle ( even tried to get me out of retiremnet to help him – lol )

But he is doing okay, has started a young family. Hope that works out for him – nice to know I got him started and up and running and on his own two feet.

Young men today have lost their way, no positive role models allowed – “Toxic Masculinity”. Thinking next year to get involved with a mens mentell charity to help/advise & guide them through what ever issues are bothering them.

Just needed to get my divorce finished this year – “Get your own house in order first”

Well, there has to be an intrinsic drive to learn.

Personally, I had a working computer with internet access and a will to learn how to put the next one together. I looked it up online, found all the info needed then started buying compatible parts. I’ve also done some clean Windows 98 installs on that first computer: you had to go into MS-DOS and type very specific commands to be able to get it to boot from the CD and start installing: none of that self-install crap.

NO ONE taught me ! I looked for it MYSELF. Now, kids are taught to use their phone and not wonder HOW it works. Being raised by narcs will then cause them to have no self-esteem and be defeatists that will never attempt anything because “don’t touch that or you’ll break it”.

But yeah I agree: as more boys are taken away from their fathers, practical skills are getting lost at an alarming rate.

I’m going Easy on him. I’m having him Install Windows 10. I should of let him do the driver installs on WIndows 7 without an active NIC.

I purposely set up the Bios on UEFT mode so that he had to look up why the Intel SSD would not format or boot in Windows 10.

It’s small steps. But it looks like the candle has been lit.

Its amazing man, but people are starting to get fed up everywhere with the p~~~ poor school systems. But the state is fighting hard not to make that happen. Saying that not all kids can go. Well… That’s the point!

In defense of your son, I find that all this “smart” technology is fvcking stupid and doesn’t work. The old days where you had to install the driver from the floppy disk made much more sense, because today, they ship the software before they make the driver, because you’ll just download it, so they have no incentive to finish writing a workable or stable driver.

I am also not into this holding the button down for some length of time, or waiting for some indicator light to appear. Give me a fvcking real button, with inductor kickback and all. Not these pvssy shlt flat plastic buttons that don’t make contact anyway, and you have to press your finger into it for five seconds until your finger bleeds because you don’t even know if you’re hitting the contacts.

Here’s the funny part. Charter schools are actually HELD to standards; public schools are NOT. Put it this way. My city’s public schools have been in academic emergency for YEARS with numerous contracting and other financial scandals as well as s~~~ty academic performance. Do they get shut down or turned into charters? Does anybody go to jail for theft? Of course not! But if a charter performs poorly or there is financial malfeasance, it is shut down OR reverted back to a public school. If a charter performs poorly, it should have its management changed to a DIFFERENT company. And EVERY story that notes an ACTION is being taken after poor charter school performance should state ‘Of course, for public schools performing poorly, NO actions can ever be taken, due to the clout of the teacher’s unions. The only action that can be taken is to raise salaries, benefits, and staff headcount.’

The story was irresponsible. It needs to stay who bought the school board; I want to see total donations from public school employees, their families, and the teacher’s unions in their coverage. And I want to see total donations [to Board elections]. I want to know who owns these pawns [‘Board Members’] so I can properly interpret their actions in that context.

Even better is to just give 10% of the students in a large system a $15K (or whatever per pupil spending is) scholarship (voucher). They can then choose to go to a private school, charter, vocational, or public school. And each year increase it by another 10% until everybody has a choice. And simultaneously, each year, privatize 10% of the public schools. So at the end of a decade you have all private schools competing with one another. This will never happen, because of the power of the teacher’s unions.

I’d say kids can learn much from BOTH parents IF the parents are engaged. My parents were very engaged and I learned from both of them.
