I found the last three weeks I spent in the MGTOW Manosphere to be, for better or worse, reminiscent of 6th-grade recess — playful, petty and short-tempered. Make no mistake: These guys are bullies.

I find this a little hard to believe. But even if it was true, it’s not gonna stop MGTOW from growing.

It’s the women’s behavior that guarantees the growth of MGTOW. I don’t think he mentioned anything about it in his article. Isn’t he curious at all, why MGTOW is growing? Shouldn’t that be the most important question? Perhaps, there is a reason for it.

Exactly. Men CAN read between he lines. So even though they’re just trying to shame us, a man among them would probably think, “Wait a second. This actually makes a LOT of sense.”

I think the good thing Mr. Brian did is that he concealed as little truth as possible. That brings out a clearer picture of the whole philosophy and makes it more practical; so I’d say its definitely better than the usual shaming pieces we see from time to time.

I agree, I wouldn’t be too quick to believe that the author of this article is entirely on our side. Things seemed to start off well, but once I got to that quote, the sour taste began.

I just find it notable, in both an amusing and frustrating way, that so many articles keep doing this – asking “Why are men avoiding women?” We’ve made it pretty clear why, yet are constantly asked anyway. If your IQ is higher than your shoe size then the explanation should be fairly obvious, but every new article that touches on this subject keeps asking us to repeat what we’ve already said.

All these people need to do is take a look at the MGTOW homepage, where it says, “Ejecting silly preconceptions and cultural definitions of what a “man” is.” That should tell them everything that they need to know. It’s there in black and white if you’re that curious about it. Yet they will not stop hounding. Remember that scene in Pinocchio where Geppetto takes him to bed and the puppet won’t stop asking why?

Any spin used by the person who wrote the article, is just of their own making.

As they say in the media, no press is bad press.

I celebrate the fact that MGTOW is getting much more attention. With the understanding, that more often than not, they will either attack it or misunderstand completely. That is what the blue pill world does best.

But the MGTOW philosophy, being one that is rooted in truth. Cannot be so easily ignored.

Truth is truth.

People are often very disturbed by what they see in the mirror. MGTOW reflects many truths, which mainstream, media and society at large, will absolutely find revolting. And that is entirely their loss.

As for the article – they can put their spin on it seven ways to Sunday, but ANY man who possesses the wits or where-withall to become MGHOW to begin with, will also possess the ability to read between the lines. This is probably the most honest web article (looks like a blog) I’ve ever seen about mgtow. I’m only posting this to show how EASY it is to write a simple unbiased article about mgtow. none of these so-called professional journalists can get it right, and this particular article/story was written almost 1.5 years ago.

MGTOW, an acronym standing for “men going their own way” is in my honest opinion the largest (and coolest) wing of the “man-o-sphere”. One thing I’ve noticed is that MGTOW runs into a lot of opposition from feminist groups, “white knights”, and females alike. However, with all of those attacks they seem to have one thing in common: a lack of understanding of the MGTOW movement. So here are 10 things white-knights , feminists, and females do not understand about MGTOW.

1) MGTOW is more of a philosophy on how to live life instead of a movement.
2) MGTOWS are not just bitter men who cant get a date
3) MGTOWS are not social hermits
4) MGTOW’s are very content with their lifestyle
5) Insulting or shaming MGTOW does jack squat.
6)They’re not all anti-feminist they just could care less about women’s rights, issues, etc.

Very nice and concise # 8 has to be my favorite though as it prophesies the re-advent of our beloved patriarchy or as rationalist might say a return to the natural order of things and then society can again as before progress ever onward toward a more noble life for all. Imho, the best way to get a good interview is to research the writer, look at his body of work and get a feeling where hes coming from, his style.Only give an interview to some one you think would repesent you the way youd like. But its allways a crap shoot because you have no say in the finished product.

Most writers have there next few projects in mind. They will decide before hand how much time to spend on each project.Cost prohibitive to stay on anyone project for too long. With out enuogh time spent to learn neaunce and sudletys, or the fact what you see this week could be different from next week, they barely scatch the surface, then write a knowing essay about it.Thats as good as its ever going to be.

I don’t think of Keymaster as my “leader” but rather as someone with great ideas that I agree with because they match my experience and own insights. And I think Keymaster has always maintained the honourable humility to characterize himself in such a way. I will say that Keymaster is very articulate, good at incorporating relevant stories of his own experience, and is a man of integrity. So, compared to most thinkers, I think Keymaster is very much worthy of my time and attention.

The article could be worse and it could be better. I strongly disagree with the end part that MGTOW represents an entirely new form of American masculinity. What about those men that explored frontiers without women? What about historical MGTOW’s? I think the MGTOW philosophy and lifestyle is consistent with the old American ideals of integrity, practicality, individuality, ingenuity, and a general resistance to rigid class structures, traditions, and tyranny. If it is entirely new, then why is the MGTOW in the movie “City Slickers” an old-school, elderly man representing the 19th century cowboy era? It is the younger guy (Billy Crystal) who represents the “new” American man, who is trampled upon and enslaved.

I also disagree with the part that portrays us as feeling that women “let us down.” I don’t hold a particular expectation of women that they failed to meet. I simply have standards of what behavior I will tolerate or that would make a relationship worthwhile for me. If women won’t meet those standards, then I won’t waste my time, money, and energy on them. As I don’t have an initial expectation that women will meet my standards, they can’t “let me down.” To put it differently, I’m not trying to tell women what to do and then getting upset when they don’t meet my demands. I’m trying to live my life with integrity and self-respect and I’m not going to give that up for anyone. Maybe that seems like a subtle distinction, but it makes a big difference to me as it makes the difference between defining myself through others or defining myself through myself.

Finally, I object to the characterization of MGTOW as “selfish,” unless the word is being used in a sort of Ayn Randian sense. From what I’ve read on here, many MGTOW (including Keymaster) have made a number of selfless sacrifices on behalf of women and others in their lives. I imagine that many of us continue to act selflessly. That doesn’t mean that we have an obligation to actively seek out con-artists to whom we can hand our wallets, and we don’t have to enter into one-sided “relationships” that are misleadingly presented as two-sided. If we conclude that we won’t get what we are promised (mutual love, companionship, commitment, and respect in a relationship), we are entitled to reject a fraudulent contract that won’t be fulfilled. Is that really so selfish? If we conclude the plumber isn’t really going to fix our pipes, do we have some duty to enter into a binding contract and pay him anyway?

I worry that the author of the article didn’t fully understand us and got distracted by minor points (“Women drivers…” a total non-issue for me and one I don’t recall seeing on here).
