There seems to be a lot of resentment going around at this point on Mgtow.com
There’s a saying in the USA that I agree with… “United We Stand, Divided We Fall”

Whether it’s in a relationship, a couple , an organization or a Country once discord appears, it threatens to destroy the Unity, the harmony.
There’s another saying that I like “Forgetting And Forgiving”

One does not need to be brilliant to understand the importance to remain united… and forgetting and forgiving allows just that! whether your religious beliefs leads you to forget and forgive a perceived offence or your logical thinking leads to to the same conclusion the results will be the same.

Not forgiving a perceived offence against one undermines ones energy and peace of mind, which sooner or later leads to actions that one might end up regretting.

From my personal perspective the quarreling on this site might lead to more members burning out and deciding to terminate their accounts… If the various members holding grudges against other members continues.. it will be sad but the results will most likely be the termination of such members.

I firmly believe in always going the extra mile, always giving one the benefit of the doubt, therefore I personally shouldn’t be affected but will end up witnessing more members burning out and self terminating on here. What will it be discord or Unity? The choice is a personal one.

I have a simple solution to cut the cord with the troll notifications that stir up so much s~~~.

I suggest that KM turns off the notification feature for “follow/unfollow” events.

Problem solved. Communication platform cut off. Then the troll can no longer “message” us and appear in the notifications.

Getting/Being followed is not such an important event to have it in the notification bell.

And some forums make changing usernames and handles impossible without the aid of the admin.

That would immediately solve the second problem of spamming the board with insulting user names.

Ask anybody to pick a good handle and make changing it a thing of the admin.

That would not disrupt the forums in any way.

Back in 2016, we did not have the notification bell and we could also live with that.

Now the feature is wonderful for PM conversations but the “follow/unfollow” function is now exploited by our super troll.

Maybe shut it off or make it a time delayed thing.

This effort is to show how easy it is to shut that type of trolling up.

Now – with that feature switched off – every troll has to wait to get approved or pay a subscription.

I made my choice by shutting off the “follow” alert in profile settings. (see post above)
