Okay, maybe I am the last person in the community to see the new MGTOW Geiko Gecko wallpaper, but that is very cool.

Thank you for noticing. In fact, I think this is the first comment I have seen on that one. It’s been in the random rotation for about a year now…. and strangely, the reaction was rather placid.

But this was worth it! Thank you very much.

The trick was getting the MGTOW symbol in his eye, and to not appear when the eyelids close/blink. So it was a real frame-by-frame effort. And because it’s the most “human” of the intros, the expression had to be JUST right. So I love how he “innocently” looks at the MGTOW letters… and then right at you…. and then back at the letters again… in a loop.

It was not easy. But it really “speaks” , and it still cracks me up EVERY time I see it.

I was delighted the other day when new member “George” wrote in and requested it for his avatar. So flattered by that. I should tell him. Sent it to him immediately.

AND PS… when it appears on the homepage, the homepage usually gets pretty flooded. The other side HATES this one.

Terrific to hear that. There are about 40 of these splash intros and someone already requested we make a couple into screensavers, which we have done recently…. and another members requested a page that someone could see them on demand.

So that’s coming too… back burner, but would love to have a little gallery of them.

Well first I should say “welcome!” then!

Its’ a play on the GEICO auto insurance tagline “just 15 minutes can save you 15% or more on car insurance”… meaning call us now and make a little 15 minute effort, and we may be able to save you on insurance.

( Are you familiar with their commercials? Only really works as “humor” if you have. )

It’s a complete spoof , even using the same / similar font, and the message means “just check out MGTOW for 15 minutes” … implying that should be long enough to save you at LEAST 100% on your alimony payments + a house , your retirement fund, car, dog and whatever else a married man can get robbed of.

Just enough to trigger and inspire some thought.

It’s actually a static image that is distorted SLIGHTLY to look like the head is moving just a little, but the only thing “moving” really is the eyes. The give away is a little error under his chin (in the second image ) which reveals the trick (if you know what to look for). It’s not “perfect” but it’s close enough.

Hey KM, I’ve read paragraphs here that would stop a marriage in less than 15 seconds! Making us 60 times faster!

With the one liner knockouts we’re like five to seven hundred times faster! There’s no common denominator you can pit against 100% savings. The antithesis is a 100% loss. It’s a mathematical calculation that can’t-be-done, it’s like putting a vacuum gauge on a blackhole.
