Oh boohoo, some old skank hasn’t found her Prince Charming yet. What did she do about it? Probably nothing, just sat at home and waited for her rescuer to come barging in on his shining white horse and whatnot.

There are a couple of older Spinster sisters that live four miles from me. They inherited their farms and money.
One of them called early one morning last fall and asked if I’d be interested in doing snow removal for them this winter. They have a very long driveway that drifts a lot. It’s not uncommon for them to have drifts a yard high.
I told her I’m not in the business. I told her the township will plow but they now charge for private driveways. I gave her the number of a local landscaping guy who does this for a living and does very nice work. She said someone had told her it costs quite a bit to hire the other guy.- AuthorPosts
