Jon and I must agree to disagree. My idea of a successful marriage is exactly the same as getting carried over a waterfall — don’t do it!

I might be wrong, but i’m sure that there was a story in Nikki Six’s boigraphy involving a visit to a brothel in Germany and Jon Bon Jovi.

I bet he screwed plenty of women on the side during Bon Jovi’s hey days.

Never liked any of the Bon Jovi “Bubblegum Pop” pretending to be rock. To me their music has always been about putting women on a pedestal and getting laid.

I will just leave this here……

Amen BB I never listen to anything composed after 1760. in fact I put some of my tunes on a thread last week and I didn’t get a very favorable response. So lets try again.

    Hey Pete,

Thanks for sharing! I find I like any music that is composed by skilled musicians, even when its not my favorite genre. I tend to gravitate towards Heavy Metal, Power Metal etc… because of its rage and anger. It gives me a nice constructive outlet for all my nasty destructive urges.

Big fan of Wagner (Der Ring des Nibelungen), and even in genre’s I hate I have found music I enjoyed. I have found I can appreciate the skill of a great musician even when I don’t like their message.

Are you familiar with Yngwie Malmsteen? He is a guitar virtuoso who is heavily influenced by Classical music and Andres Segovia guitar technique. Might be something you would enjoy.

It seems to secret is to beg and plead and make yourself useful to your female overlord. Yay, a one sided slave relationship sounds great so long as you’re not the slave. Again, women extolling marriage because it solely benefits them. I’ve come to expect nothing less from the c~~~s at the Huffington Post.

I’ve heard of him but I’m not familiar with his music. I get the heavy metal thing. When I was much younger (Much) I had a thing for Metallica and Faith No More. But now I just stick to my heavy metal (organ) On a big stereo I can shake the whole house.

As for guitar take a look some time at the works of Charles Mouton (1619-1699) It will bring tears to your eyes.

That guitar playing was incredible and yes I can hear the classical overtones. That guy is amazing. Unfortunately my computer sound system has a problem—it cuts out every few seconds and gives me an error message: “you just unplugged a device from the audio jack” So I only get to hear snipits.

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume this was all dreamed up by his publicist to gain favor with manginas and feminazis at the record company.

But maybe that’s only because I still have a copy of Slippery When Wet on cassette.

This doesn’t surprise me. I remember being about 13 and reading an interview with Bon Jovi where he said that “God is probably a woman”. Ah, right.
