Hello. Some of you may recognize me. I’ve been popping in & out of here for a couple months now, wishing I had found this place long ago. At 61 I’m nowhere near where I thought I would be by now. I swore off marriage after my first, tragedy laden marriage. I won’t go into what happened during those years…it’s too depressing. Wife #1 was, and still is, a blonde bimbo in every sense of the metaphor.
The years rolled by and I had my college adventures after the Navy. And, please, don’t thank me for my service…Vietnam left a bad taste in my mouth where the American public is concerned. Thank my brother twice, instead…he went there twice. I met my 2nd wife while working for the Gov’t. in San Diego. We dated, moved in together, and lived as husband and wife without the paper for many years. 2nd wife was a crazy redhead, and a MGTOW supporter. She hated the double standards as much as any of us. We got paper because we were going to adopt children. We moved shortly before we divorced. It was the best thing I ever did. I love it in the northwest, but I’m still a guy…and this area is vagina central. My first and second wives were night and day from each other. I was in the best shape of my life after my 2nd divorce. I know many of you probably hate that, but I’ve always had a sixth sense about people in general. I can ‘smell’ bad women. My two breakups were unspectacular.
By then I had my own house, mortgage, and a fun job that paid well enough to live comfortably. Then I met…her. Oh s~~~…what have I done? Bobio is right. I need to get the f~~~ out of here. We dated for a while as she bought herself a house after her recent divorce. At our age it was almost impossible to find someone that hasn’t been divorced. She has 3 exes. Red flag? Stupid me. #1 was the sperm bank. She ‘did it’ all herself without the CS(how noble, eh guys?) #2 was the bad boy. He shot her once, and then died of ‘some disease or something'(she says) a few years after their divorce.(another red flag? Stupid me) #3 is from Texas. He threw her out and moved in another wife(lucky him…another wife). I sold my house at the top of the market and moved in with her in her new digs. I figured, what do I need a mortgage for? She was perfect. She had her own career(one of these days I’ll tell you guys about her job…interesting parallels), pension, house, and her daughter was married and living overseas with a 6 six year old boy. I ended up spending all the equity from my house, and part of my retirement on ‘making her happy’. Then, three years ago her daughter moved in with us. She’d divorced her husband because she wasn’t haaaaappy. Two years ago she had a baby with a younger PUA turd. She got f~~~ed in her divorce so she’s stuck at mom’s until she wises up and finds a wallet to move in with. (You guys know any wallets you’d like to f~~~ over? I’ll introduce her.) I just finished doing the road trip from hell with GF. Bobio’s right, and there are times I’d like to use the business end of a 38 to ‘get out’, but I’ve felt that way before because I’ve lived a life full of both joy and tragedies. What keeps me going? Remember that baby GF’s daughter had? Well, he calls me papa. Considering how useless daddy is…how can I leave him alone in this house with them? If nothing else, it’s interesting.
So, that’s my story. Thank you for welcoming me into the fold. Someone tell me how add a quote to my posts. It’s going to say, “Don’t follow in my footsteps…I stepped in something.” I’m not a role model, I’m a bad example. This is what happens…a little like Richard Dreyfus in Jaws. We have a new member who is a little religious. He’s probably browsing in philosophy right now. I’ve got a relationship with God, too. I need it. As you can see by my story, I keep looking for that damned unicorn. Well, the point of that horn is sticking right up my ass right now…ow!"Don't follow in my footsteps...I stepped in something."
First, Welcome home, JT. Sounds like you’ve been through the wringer. I lived in S.D. for the 90’s myself. Beautiful, but crazy expensive.
I keep looking for that damned unicorn.
Note that in Scripture, the Unicorn is likely referring to the Rhinoceros.
When women lead, destruction is the destination. -- Me.
JT: Welcome! Looking forward to hearing more from you.
