I just watched this video, and I can’t believe how callous the judge is! The ex-wife has gotten more than she needs to start a new life. Who appoints these judges anyway?

If you take away a man’s ability to work, how do you expect him to pay child support? That’s the $4500 question in Joe’s case. At least give the man a payment system instead of demanding a lump sum. I mean, JUSTICE isn’t about making every ex-wife wealthy. Both parties should be granted some way to live after a divorce.

Putting a man in prison for a month—so he can’t work and earn money—and then asking if he has enough money to pay child support is insane! It’s pure insanity! Then the judge will send him back to prison after taking away his means to earn money. Joe cannot win and his children (and ex-wife) will no longer benefit from his paychecks. And the taxpayers will likely spend $2500 a month to incarcerate a productive member of society. WHY?!

There are a million reasons not to get married, and this is reason number 999,999!

"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)
