A 10 month marriage…and she gets 13,000 a month in child support lol. What the f~~~ do you spend 13,000 a month on for a baby? He gets to subsidize a ho for 18 years for a 10 month marriage while shes off riding the carousel. So glad I never married…and never gonna!

    Un-f~~~ing-believable.

Renner could also be looking at even higher payments if he has a particularly successful year. The documents stipulate that should the Mission: Impossible star make more than $2.3 million in a year

So if he has a s~~~ year where no-one makes a movies with a sniper, he’s still on the hook for $156 THOUSAND – goes to gaol if he doesn’t have it, of course – but if he has a good year, she gets an increased cut.

And some court signed off on that? Why? How? WTF?

Because a woman is entitled to stay in the lifestyle to which she has grown accustomed. An entitlement no other creature in the universe has.

Well, for those men who have finished reading this article…you now have an idea why Robin Williams killed himself. Two divorces and a failing 3rd marriage…broke due to millions in alimony payments & child support…no possibility of retirement. He had to accept any roles and scripts that came his way which resulted in making some #$%$ movies and slowly ruining his much earned reputation.
Gentlemen…marriage is a contract and it is a bad one for men. Really bad. As men we are rational, logical, and we have the ability to detach our emotions from the decision making process. You have to do it with marriage.
Once you look at the numbers with cold detachment you will see the marriage trap with ease.

I hope Jeremy doesn’t make the that same mistake and marry again, really have enjoyed his movies. It’s a lot of money, but it could have been much worse. According to the article he doesn’t have to pay spousal support, only child support, which I am sure will mostly go to the ex’s pocket.

"what a waste of a life, to marry, give up your freedom, just for the hope of not dying alone. Don't get married Son."

Most middle class families have to live on a fraction of what he pays in child support. There is a sucker born every minute.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

Renner has both Marvel and Mission: Impossible by his back. God damn.

No wonder Robin Williams was depressed. We need MGTOW celebrities or this will keep happening.

The child was actually born a year or so before they were married. Technically, it’s a divorce settlement, but since there is no spousal support, and he keeps most of his assets, there is nothing really related to the divorce. Of course, that depends on what ‘most’ means.

$13 k is a ton, but child support has always been based on salary, not on the needs of the child. I imagine that was derived from the standard formulas. Like any other cases though, it makes no sense that child support payments are not adjusted when there is shared custody.

As for the child support rising automatically if Renner has a good year…that’s actually to Renner’s benefit in my opinion. Within Texas at least, the mother can always take the Dad back to court and ‘sue’ for increased child support. She’ll get it if Dad’s salary has increased. I don’t think Dad can sue for lowering the child support, regardless of any decrease in salary.

So by taking this self adjusting route, Renner avoids having to go back to court and paying additional legal fees, in the likely event that mom will want more money. As well, the child support will go back down in off years, which is likely to happen in his profession. He would not get that with a normal child support agreement.

Aside: It was not my intention exactly, but I inadvertently did myself a big favor, I think, during my divorce process by dragging it out and thus making it more painful for her. It was a year between when she sued for divorce and when it was finalized. In the end, my ex had to spend a lot of money on her lawyer and dreads the idea of doing that again. I recently bought a new house and am putting in a pool, and there’s been no sign of her thinking about trying to get more money out of me. Whatever additional money she might get would be eaten up in legal fees and an enormous amount of stress.

    Ok. Then do it.

A snippet from another comment from the article, pretty accurate too.

“The classic starlet retirement plan. Get married to someone with money, pop a kid, give up your career to raise the child, then file for divorce. You can’t put child support in a pre-nup…”

Because a woman is entitled to stay in the lifestyle to which she has grown accustomed. An entitlement no other creature in the universe has.

That’s just it, isn’t it? Pure 100% entitlement. Imagine the arrogance in believing it’s their right to have the exact same lifestyle forever. It’s like when children cry because they’re moving to a new house or a new school because “I wanted things to be the same forever and ever.”

$13,000 a month for 16 years is just shy of $2.5 million tax free. I’d f~~~ him for that.

Yeah this s~~~ is ridiculous. I can’t wait for the day child support just becomes “It costs 1,000 dollars a month to raise a kid, both parents are responsible for 500 a month” and custody defaults to 50/50 unless one parent willingly defers to the other or there are mitigating circumstances.

It is a career choice. Some women ruin their beauty on higher academics like engineering, aerospace or medicine.

While other women exploit the on-lookers. Once they realize their demands, they get some practice and then land or at least try to land a successful man.

In my books she succeeded and kudos to her for securing her future and perhaps her kid too. Now that she has some ties to A-list celebrity, a ‘mature and grown-up’ man with good income/career will take that single mother in because she ‘loves’ him.

The common denominator is men who allow this to happen.

I don’t know anybody who needs $13,000 a month. Not even children.

That bitch is making almost as much as I do, and I get shot at for a living. Talk about magic vagina. At that point the judge should have had the kid go to Jeremy.

Don't stick your dick into anyone you aren't willing to put up with for eighteen years and nine months.
