I love that film and that is the best line in the entire flick. The girl, touching her heart and mind when she asks the question lol. The irony. I just watched again for the umpteemth time a few nights ago.

I like the opening scene as well when hes chewing out his gay neighbor-

“Do I bother you when your NANCY-ing around your garden!?!”

Ive never read the book and know nothing of the author, but having a character who despises women be a best selling novelist to women is an excellent and ironic idea.
