I've always hated being young.

Don’t get me wrong, I like the health a young body brings, but I’ve always hated being and looking young. I don’t know what it is, but I’ve always admired older men because of this.

I’m 25 years old and I still look like I’m in my teens. Hell, some people think I look younger than that in some cases.

It always seemed to me no matter where you go, older men could pretty much do anything they wanted because they automatically got more respect from co-workers, family, friends, and even a lot of society (despite feminism demonizing men).

I’m as stoic as they come, but every now and then, I do have to admit it would be nice if more people outside of the internet actually treated me as an old guy who knew what he was doing.

Add to the fact that I’m a millinial, most younger guys get lumped in with the retarded SJW crowd automatically. Which definitely sucks in a lot of cases.

I do enjoy the benefits of being young brings as far as health is concerned, but otherwise, I’d rather be old.

Anyone else ever felt this way when they were younger? Or if they are young?

Don’t wish your life away. Some day you will be an old man wishing you can go back to 25. Hell, I’m 33 and I wish I would go back to my early 20s and that includes undoing a lot of unintended mistakes that’s been holding me down.

I know that being young has its tough spots; you’re blasted with debts, low paying jobs, pressures, disappointments that can be hard to get through, and all you’re doing is starting out. Yes it’s hard sometimes being young, but it does have its good sides. Health and youthful looks are to name a few.

Like I said, I would go back to 21 if I could undo time and undo mistakes and take what I’ve learned about the real life of the past 15 years and try again at 21. Unfortunately, you can’t undo time.

So take this in consideration; DON’T WISH OR THROW YOUR LIFE AWAY, YOU WILL BE AN OLD MAN SOME DAY. This is some stuff my father told me.
