It’s been a while, guys. Hope everyone is doing well.
I’ve been working every day, morning to night, doing my rides business for people, particularly the international community of students who attend the university I used to work for. I couldn’t be happier. I bring in at least $50 a day (sometimes over $100). Working 7 days a week, that gives me the income I need to survive.
I’m caught up on all my bills, and I’ve taken the advice I remember some of you telling me about (selling stuff). One of my best friend’s neighbors was emptying their apartment out, and were going to dispose of their washer and dryer THAT WORKED. I offered to take it from them, and posted it on Facebook Marketplace and sold it within 15 minutes for $200! I keep an eye out for stuff people throw out, test it to see if it works, clean it up, and turn around and sell it. I have a lot of time to work on my college homework and to kick it with my friends whenever I’d like.
The rides are a constant income, and I’m told from some of these guys that the summer will be even bigger for income (I charge $40 for rides to the Houston international airport and they eagerly want it when the end of the semester comes because I’m a cheaper rate than Uber and other pay riders around here).
I got a call from a guy earlier (that was referred by one of the students) saying he runs a repair business and may need me to do occasional deliveries of parts for him. This guy is definitely not part of the international community, so I suppose the word is spreading to the domestic side now. It’s grown exponentially since I made a post about it last!
Anonymous42Gov, I was just thinking about you man! That’s fantastic! You’re riding the bull instead of the horns! Thanks for letting us know about your success! I’m gonna sleep tonight cracking a little smile thinking about your handling of the bull sent to stomp you out of existence, Ride’em cowboy!
