Guys you gotta be careful with your choice of words. Don’t want to be accused of being sexist. Our words matter, and according to the View, we are all guilty. We should just go back to the plantation and live out our lives in servitude for our wrong doings as members of the oppressive patriarchy. Our masculinity is to toxic.

What are your thoughts? Is it sexist to call a woman hysterical??

F~~~ that. If someone is acting hysterical I’ll call it like it is. Just like how I call out the liberals on their hysteria in politics.

Women know that they act hysterical, that’s why this bitch is trying to take away ammo that would call her out on her bulls~~~. As is typical, they want to block logical people from expressing dissent and create a situation of superiority.

It doesn’t matter what I say. I have a penis therefore I’m sexist. That’s OK. I’ve also been called sex-y, which I’m also OK with. Just don’t call me late for dinner.

At this point, some feminists consider a man looking at a woman to be consider “assault” (eye-banging), let along talking to a woman.

According to the unholy writings of the abomination called ‘feminism’ Man is inherently sexist so it’s sexist to do or say anything around these bitches.
When they can’t say it’s ‘sexist’ they say it’s ‘inappropriate’ which is another word to control another person’s speech or movements.
That’s why we’re mgtow, guys. We don’t take kindly to others who try to control us.

Not only is hysteria a diagnosis retained for women only, the treatment is a vigorous f~~~ or a physicians masterbation.

In 1859, a physician named George Taylor claimed that a quarter of all women suffered from hysteria. George Beard, a physician who catalogued seventy-five pages of possible symptoms of hysteria and yet called his list incomplete,[5] claimed that almost any ailment could fit the diagnosis. Physicians thought that the stress associated with the typical female life at the time caused civilized women to be both more susceptible to nervous disorders and to develop faulty reproductive tracts.[6] In the United States, such diagnosed disorders in women provided a step forward for the US to be medically on the same advancement level as Europe.[clarification needed] One American physician expressed pleasure in the fact that the country was “catching up” to Europe in the prevalence of hysteria.[5]

Rachel Maines hypothesized that doctors from the classical era up until the early 20th century commonly treated hysteria by masturbating female patients to orgasm (termed “hysterical paroxysm”), and that the inconvenience of this may have driven the early development of and the market for the vibrator.[1] Although Maines’s theory that hysteria was treated by masturbating female patients to orgasm is widely repeated in the literature on female anatomy and sexuality,[7] some historians dispute Maines’s claims about the prevalence of this treatment for hysteria and about its relevance to the invention of the vibrator, describing them as a distortion of the evidence or that it was only relevant to an extremely narrow group.[8][9][10] Maines has said that her theory should be treated as a hypothesis rather than a fact.[7]

Well, I take exception to the word “sexist” but I can see why they thing so.

From New Latin hysteria, from hysteric, from Latin hystericus, from Ancient Greek ὑστερικός (husterikós, “suffering in the uterus, hysterical”), from ὑστέρα (hustéra, “womb”). Compare French hystérie.

The word basically means “To behave in an uncontrolled, irrational manner.” e.g. “Like a woman.”

I can see how women would think this is sexist… but as George Carlin would say, it’s sexual in that it relates to a single sex specifically, but not sexist.

    Not at all.

“Hysteria” like “Hysterectomy” come from ( and pertain to ) the word “uterus”.

    Hysteria is actually womanly.
And a “hysterectomy” is the surgical procedure and removal of the uterus.

…. but it also depends on what they call “sexist”. Too many women today think fresh air is “sexist” but hysteria pertains to an exclusively female body part.

Guys you gotta be careful with your choice of words

No you don’t. Because men INVENTED those words. And that’s not sexist either. Women need to be careful about how “hysterical” they allow themselves to get over the proper use of a word.

You can use ANY WORD YOU WANT any time you want directly to any woman you want. You can even create a new word, because men are not bound by the lexicon and we may continue adding to it.

    TRY IT!

Say a word to a woman that she thinks isn’t a real word.
She will try and tell you “that’s not a real word and you can’t use it”.

That’s when you can tell her – preferably in front of other people – men are not bound by the lexicon and we may continue adding to it whenever we please. Because that’s how languages were created by men since the beginning of time, and that’s why men are better at communicating and languages. Including programming languages, reading and writing music, and damn near every over written language on Earth.

    Women have –>> “girl talk”.

She’ll try and tell you that you’re being “sexist”.
    but it’s just a FACT.

So don’t worry. You never need to be careful with your choice of words around women ever again.
    How mantastic is that.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

This. There is absolutely no reasoning with women; they’re emotional rather than logical. Cut your losses, walk away, and refuse to interact any further.

I had never thought to look up the origin of the word…interesting. However, I don’t think it make much sense to tie the behavior to the presence of a uterus. The behavior isn’t driven by the uterus. A woman without a uterus can behave hysterically. Heck, a man can be hysterical.

Would you ever say a male senator was hysterical? In my mind, one of the most memorable moments of hysteria was by a man. Howard Dean. Not a senator, but a governor and DNC chair.

That said though, women seem to have a lot more moments of hysteria then men do.

Unless of course you’re talking about guys like Robin Williams. That man was hysterical.

    Ok. Then do it.
