    On the Drudge Report today.

    Transcript:

It turns out, if you’re single, you probably hold stronger social bonds that help people.

Marriage can constrain people socially, and is not always the happy ending we perceive it to be – and a study, published in 2015, has supported that notion.

The study, published in the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships found that:

Single individuals are more likely to frequently stay in touch with, provide help to, and receive help from parents, siblings, neighbours and friends than the married.

The study found that being single increased the social connections of both men and women, a trend that remained even when taking into account structural explanations of social relationships.

The researchers concluded that instead of promoting marriage, public policy should “acknowledge the social constraints associated with marriage and recognise that single individuals have greater involvement with the broader community”.

The 2015 study was advanced upon by a TEDx talk in May 2017, in which Bella DePaulo argued that society undervalues the lives, relationships and stories of single people; that so often the told story is the romantic one, of how two married people met, than the lives of people independent of others.

After all, studies have shown that people who get married do not end up happier or psychologically healthier than when they were single.

The most important thing you can do is ask yourself, what do I really want out of life. Really think about it, and always be true to yourself. Then Do it.

    Haha.

    No.

It’s wifey who “constrains people socially”, specifically her poor schmuck of a husbank.

And “not always the happy ending”? More like 90% of the time ends in disaster for the man.

Fake news sends almost the correct message, but still manages to be fake news.

Its altogether better when women are single. They can do a lot more damage when married.

A woman is like fire -fun to play with, can warm you through and cook your food, needs constant feeding, can burn you and consume all you own

I can confirm 100% being single is brilliant.

I have pumped and dumped many 9s and 10s (so 5,6,7 without fakeup) in my time never bothered with relationships, never married ,never had offspring.

    Nowdays I am monk.

If only I could find a reasonable job that paid reasonable money where Ididnt have to deal with cnt colleagues and cnt people on the phone I would be a very happy man.

    Stay single bredrin, stay single.

Perhaps reality is starting to sink in. What next? Introspection as to why they are single? Be prepared for a new round of blaming and shaming if you decide not to ghost on society.

I didn’t need a study to tell me that. LOL

I don't hate women. I just feel better when they're not around.

#MeToo (couldn’t resist that one). Unfortunately, I work for The Council, so I have to deal with c*nt colleagues regularly, the money is barely adequate, and the building is crap. My brain/talent is totally wasted. But a job is a job.

That is interesting since as humans our offspring grow up better when raised by 2 parents together. We have studies that show kids who grow up with both parents together are better off then kids raised by a single parent. Perhaps modern government marriage is the problem as thousands of years ago when people paired up there wasn’t no government involved.

But a job is a job.

Indeed, you could be a lot worse off like the poor bastards on zero hours contracts at places like sports direct.

    I did my own study.

I did a 61 year study and came to the same conclusion. Better late than never, I guess.

Boy ain’t that the truth. I am a hero to all my male co-workers and the bane to all the females.

What did you do this weekend?
I went bass fishing all day Sat and dirt biking all day Sunday.
I bet your wife “loves” that.
I dont have a wife, its a great life I live.
Man I wish I was you.

Of course it’s better to be single.

But I don’t like people period. The MGTOW lifestyle appeals to me because really I’m not attached to people in any way, shape or form. I can drop people from my life in a heart beat if I choose to.
