Last year at this time an employee at the facility I work for was fired unjustly. It was my job to escort him off the property. I did it without incident. We walked without talking to a car that picked him up. I knew that was not the last time his FORMER place of employment was going to hear from him. He is a straight white male over 40. Is very professional and has money. Quiet and has some brains. He just didn’t fit the company’s agenda.

I was leaving work this morning(I work nights and weekends to avoid the brass) and I could hear management screaming about a lawsuit that was just filed against them. It was funny because they are really up in arms about it. Yep, it was about the gentleman they fired last year. He had 1 year to file a lawsuit. He filed on the 363rd day. It’s not a question on whether he is going to win or not. The question is how much his former place of employment is going to have to pay and who will they have to get rid of. It looks to me that he will get paid and quietly walk away. It just seems like management never saw this coming. It sounds like this dude took the full year to gather as much dirt as he could then dumped it on them.

Here’s the part of the story that p~~~es me off. If he doesn’t have the resources or the knowhow to handle this then the company would get away with it like they always do. I also believe that if he was anything other than a white male over 40 they would have never terminated him in the first place. The company underestimated him and now it’s just a question of how much it’s going to cost them. I have no sympathy for them. They deserve it.

It can’t hurt for any guy to have his ducks in a row just in case.

We just don't realize life's most significant events while they're happening. Back then, I thought, "Well, there'll be other days". I didn't realize that that was the only day. - "Moonlight" Graham

Glad this guy did what I am doing. Not letting the assholes get away with it. How many men do you know over 40 that just sit there and take it?

PayBacks a BITCH. Even worse when you really got wronged. Patience is he name of the game. You wait till the perfect time to attack.
HIT THEM HARD> HIT THEM RELENTLESSLY. NO MERCY.

If keep letting people do it, they will continue. How do you think we got here in the first place with OUR ordeals?

NEVER let these people out of your sight. RIDE THEM till they end up right where they belong.

You are all alone. If you have been falsely accused of RAPE, DV, PLEASE let all men know about the people who did this. http://register-her.net/web/guest/home

I had an employer try to frame and then fire me. Faked up, near identical witness statements (ALL from females), the whole works.

Unfortunately for them, they didn’t know that I was a former full-time union official, had studied law, and was a former PD employee.

In a hearing in which it was 6 onto 1, I tore into and utterly trashed them. Proving collusion was just for starters. My union representative said that he’d never seen anything like it.

I agreed to leave, but on my terms and with a barrowload of money.

    Always.

Assume treachery, particularly if there are females involved. Collect dirt on your employer and line managers. Squirrel away copies of compromising documents. Keep a diary (‘contemporaneous notes’, in legalese).

These companies have been getting away with this kind of thing for a long time. I’m starting to think that when someone starts taking swings at them they’re not used to it. They have no idea what to do. It looks like they’re already folding. Hope he gets a big payoff. Ca-CHING.
