Isn't there a downside for Trump constantly punching down?

There are individuals who make a living baiting individuals, and want to generate controversy in the news. I am thinking of Ball’s father, the NBA player, who wants to be in the news. He baited Trump, and Trump goes off and tweets maybe he shouldn’t of released the students.

What is gained by constantly punching down all the time? It is always “get even”, even from a position of superiority. Ball’s father gets more money off of this, by creating controversy?

And there are others, and not just Ball’s father. Do you personally go back 3 times harder at everyone who may of slighted you, or didn’t fully give you credit? This is done over Twitter, which is a social media tool and the arms of armchair activists and special snowflakes, who see it as a tool for empowerment. How is Ball’s father punish by this, when his demographic for his shoes hates Trump? Again, there are others, so Ball’s father is just an example.

I’m not a fan of how Trump handles himself at times. He is not perfect. We get that.

We had two choices in the general election. I think I made the correct one.

Trump has been shot at from every side since he got into office and he chooses to step in front of every bullet. The problem is his ego won’t let him rise above the garbage. His ego is frail and he’s easily manipulated and baited. Narcissism will be his down fall.

The man has an ‘anything goes kind of strategy’. That won’t carry him well at the level he’s operating at. Will he last four years? Maybe.. But his tactics have already worn thin on the nation.

I read the article. It seems Trump is fighting against entitled douchebag professional athletes. Establishment lefties come out in defense of the fathers attitude.

Professional sports take another hit to their bottom line. None of this costs the taxpayers a penny.

There’s a rumor that Joe Biden is one of those sealed harassment cases that were paid off. There are alot more stories to break. And @hitman is right, wait until the big s~~~ comes out. Alot of Congressmen will be “not seeking re-election, to spend time with their families”.

With the amount of Congressmen leaving, and the ones that will eventually be too old, I may have a real shot at Congress in the future.

President Trump bailed this man’s son out of a foreign prison. The son faced up to ten years in prison for his crimes. In response this father showed how much of an ungrateful brat he is.

In doing so Trump accomplishes two things:

– He diverts the media’s constant negative coverage
– He makes people dance to his tune

Trump is handling his critics in the same way you jiggle car keys to distract a crying baby.

In the military we called this “getting inside the other guy’s decision curve”. It doesn’t matter whether what you’re doing is perfect just as long as it forces the other guy to react to your actions rather than planning his own.

Trump is a master of keeping people on their back foot.

Case in point; North Korea. Less than two months ago the MSM was in full howl about the DPRK, the prospect of war, and about how Trump was only making matters worse. Not a minute went by without another piece of clickbait beating the drum.

Then Trump tweeted about the NFL players’ kneeling during the National Anthem and North Korea all but fell off the MSM’s radar.

Trump is playing Ball and using him to good effect. (Ball is also playing Trump, just not to the same effect.) Ball is seen by the majority of Americans as little more than a recruiting poster for the Ku Klux Klan. He is, and please forgive my language, a perfect n~~~~~. He’s stupid, loud, ignorant, boastful, full of himself, the list goes on and on. He’s so loathed outside of his community that news outlets actually starting to apologize for carrying stories mentioning him.

The UCLA players shoplifting in China was perfect for Trump. Coddled adult athletes getting a free college education committing thefts in a foreign nation is going to p~~~ lots of people off and the fact that they’re black makes it even worse. Having assclowns like Ball then excuse away their crimes by saying it was “only” shoplifting makes it even worse. Trump steps in, gets the three assholes sprung, and they’re stupid enough to play right into his hands by acting ungrateful. B~~~~’ remarks then threw more fuel onto the fire.

While the attitude of Ball and the players gained them points in their little AAU, basketball, ghetto world, that same attitude only fed into the prejudices most Americans already have. Trump was seen as making an efforts to keep a bunch of “n~~~~~s” out of jail in China while they in turn can’t even bring themselves to say thank you.

By punching down and getting Ball to run his stupid mouth, Trump jiggled car keys in front of the media while also buttressing his own brand.

Trump wrote a book decades ago called Art of the Deal. In it, he honestly described how he operates and he’s been operating that way since the Inauguration. He’s been honest and above board about who he is and what he does for a long time. For whatever reason, his enemies are too stupid to take him at his word.

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

It is one thing where you do punching down to distract. You can then create other news. But then, there come the complaints by Trump, and supporters, that the media doesn’t focus on what Trump is doing right. When you create negative distractions, why expect there NOT to be positive news?

Ball’s father is considered an idiot by those in the sphere of sports, and a big wish he would STFU. How is does this change things with Trump?
