The book isn’t even the problem but how it is used to indoctrinate people. It’s a 1,400 year old book and there is no way you can apply anything in the same way to modern times. The solution has to come from the base and that is Saudi Arabia. They must modernize and lead as a better example. It won’t happen overnight and will take decades. That is the unfortunate reality of it. The most recent comments from the Crown Prince are encouraging, but time will tell.

IS IT THE INDIVIDUAL . – Yes, it is. You either have the ones who remain silent and therefore come across as wanting to set themselves apart. Or you have the ones who really do carry out the acts of terror. In the end it is up to the individual to stand up and say “This is not right”. Look at how many uprisings and revolutions Europe and the West have had. When people get sick of it they fight back. This doesn’t seem to happen so much in Islamic countries.

Is it the elites fault . – Yes. Many of them promote this s~~~ via multicult and tolerance. Australia’s PM even dined with some extreme Muslims the other year despite these Muslims wanting their own dishes so that infidels hadn’t touched them.

Is it our goverments fault . Yes, see above. Doesn’t help when you allow people you are at war with into your country either.

Is it the jews . Yes.I recall Colin Powell saying that Desert Storm or the second war happened because “they” were feeling vulnerable. Meaning Israel.
