Now look at this fine Example of what is possible with a MAN’S labor. You can open up a shop like this for less then $5000 bucks, you could make back that investment in less then a month.

Now all it takes is skill, and any man that wants to do it can go walk into a shop, work free for the guy, have him teach you all you need to do, and who knows, you might just end up working for the owner.

Sure it can be hard work. But do these men look unhealthy? Do they look fat to you? And where are the women in this industry? (Sitting on top of the car ruining the finish of course)

What is amazing is just what can be done with just a few tools, and if so inclined the old fashioned way. BY HAND.

To all those that still think you need to go and spend Countless amounts of money at some school? The math sure is not adding up.

Start working with your hands. You will be amazed at what you can do.

You are all alone. If you have been falsely accused of RAPE, DV, PLEASE let all men know about the people who did this. http://register-her.net/web/guest/home

Yes. Apprenticeships are very underrated. Get a skill, enter the work environment with no debt.

I try to recommended trucking to people who are struggling with college frequently. There is schooling involved, but only about 3-5k worth, then depending on how hard you want to work you can make a masters degree level income.

I should make a post here one day called, “the landwhales of trucking”. Tom used to say only ugly chicks actually do real work. Man, trucking couldn’t be more solid proof.

Murph ~ There is nothing brave or manly about entering into a contract with somebody which allows them to take your money, assets, children, and decades of your future income on a mere whim.

I personally know some millwrights who only grasped basic trigonometry and algebra and they’re making $25+ an hour so I think not many people entering these fields could be the fear of math and not wanting to get their hands dirty. Still, that should be irrelevant because even on youtube there are tons of channels that teach you advanced calculus on a step by step basis, saving you money on tutors, so it’s really a matter of will and determination. A lot of these people have average intelligence and make good money simply because they took an opportunity in something that’s heavily in demand so to be in these fields doesn’t mean you have to be a genius or a human calculator.

Great post. Trades are awesome for making a living. Railroad industry to is a good one. We have hired a bunch but a lot of them are questioning it because we work in all weather year round. The young buck don’t like to get cold and wet or hot. Good union labor is always a great way to go!

Agreed. Trades are the way to go. I started as a truck driver at a Crane outfit and took the Crane Apprenticeship here in Canada. I’m always working.
