I spent most of my life chaseing my version of the white picket fence.
Did my share of white knighting thinking that was masculine.

    How silly of me.

Not at the time. It seemed the logical thing.

    Hindsight takes the blindfold off.

Many here made the same mistake. Chased what society told us we could have.

We were told lies. But at least we now know. Many are still asleep to the truth.

Every now and then I’ ll still catch myself haveing the fantasy. Have to snap myself out of it. Some of it is inate probably.

Me too my friend. Me too.

The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape, finding oneself in the ranks of the insane. Marcus Aurelius
