The kind of person whose sole purpose in a debate/argument seemingly is to nitpick and try to find some instance of you putting your foot in your mouth. The type of person who is constantly attempting to expose hypocrisy in order to compensate for the total absence of substance that they bring to a discussion. The kind of person who, in spite of the aforementioned, still acts as if they know everything about everything.

These qualities aren’t even exclusive to women (although I think this does describe the typical female argument blueprint). I have encountered this pattern in (mostly blue-pill) men as well, and it is equally as f~~~ing irritating.

I’m sure the question will draw some joke responses (which are appreciated), but in all seriousness, is there a word/name for this type of person? Whatever they’re called, seems they’re out in droves these days, and I’m at my wits end.

Depraved, toxic, Juvenile are what come to my mind.
As society implodes many things deteriorate including appreciation for reason, ability to listen, and desire for understanding others that are different or have different opinions. This is a scenario which breeds closed mindedness and ill will towards others. Any resemblance of altruism is sucked out of susceptible individuals who then turn to leech off more healthier and responsible people like yourself.
