This actually looks like a great movie, aside from the bald headed bitch ruining it for me. And knowing Marvel’s track record with SJW bulls~~~ in their comics, I don’t even know if they’ll try to plant some feminist agenda in this movie with Dr. Strange’s teacher being a woman.

Here’s the trailer for those who haven’t seen it yet:

Regardless of the feminist agenda I learn to live with it and I tend to go watch all the action hero movies because I grew up loving comic books and still do. The nerd in me will watch these types of films so long as it is not a remake like the all female Ghostbuster cast that I will refuse to watch.

Same here. Plus, Marvel did a great job with Civil War, so I’m expecting them to do even better with Dr. Strange.

Marvel has been low key with the whole girl power thing with regards to the mcu.

Cummberbatch is a amazing actor, I’m sure he’ll deliver.

I thought what I'd do was I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes...or should I?

I agree. Captain America: Civil War was likely the best version of the Marvel Civil War storyline. It was very tight and well balanced.

When is comes to “girl power” in the MCU, I get the feeling others here have. Those making the MCU are working hard to keep from one character overshadowing the other characters, regardless of the gender of the characters. This was seen in Guardians of the Galaxy 1 film.

In that airport fight in CA:CW no one was overpowered. Not even The Scarlet Witch nor Black Widow. Not even Vision.

That fight was an interesting take on oneupmanship by everyone. A good example was Winter Soldier and Falcon versus Spider-man.

Whomever is making the calls for the MCU is doing a very good job.

I look forward to seeing their ideas on Captain Marvel/Ms Marvel. That would be interesting.

And I honestly believe a Black Widow film from the MCU would work and sell well at the theater.
