Anonymous0I have always believed that the American Dream is still alive. I have always been told that it is still there (though it may be harder to get). The thought that if you work hard enough. You can attain happiness (at least in a material sense), really appeals to me. Is this idea dead? My parents immigrated here from Korea and are well off. Through my childhood they were strong believers in the American Dream and still are. I’m in high school so if it is dead and getting a high ranking job is pointless I still have time to avert college and not waste my time. However I still want the big apartment and nice car. I don’t know if it is a delusion or a future that I should work towards. A lot of MGTOWs have said not to chase material wealth because it is merely a product of hyper gamy and feminism pushing you to buy things you don’t need. Along with being just a hollow idea to help attract women. But I see material wealth as a side product of a strong mindset. I believed that by following the MGTOW ideals it would help me to attain make my dream a reality. I’m not sure if I should give it up or go for it. I really just want to know if my aspirations for an American Dream are futile or can be fruitful.

Anonymous42I don’t know about the American dream, but my post sure did died, and I didn’t even use a hammer? Hey KeyMaster, did you see my hammer?
@MG-Tower
DOn’t understand the question. Did you post something and it didn’t appear? I just checked if something you posted went into spam and there is nothing by you. Elaborate?
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.On the topic of the American Dream being dead….
There certainly doesn’t appear to be any formula for success with the death of certain virtues. Honor, loyalty… even “integrity” is one of the most googled words on the internet, because nobody f~~~ing knows what it means anymore.
50 years ago , you couldn’t just be a talentless twit and make it big from making a sex tape. The stupid are revered. The Fat are celebrated. You can be a genius singer dropping with talent, by Miley Syphilis is famous. Compare JayZ and Kayne West to Gene Kelly and you know what I’m talking about. They couldn’t look anymore bored and disinterested. They walk out on stage and look like they couldn’t be bothered and would rather be ANYWHERE else. (Can’t say that I blame them either.)
America is one of those countries that has no royalty, so they CREATE royality from scum. Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie are the “royal couple” for Christ’s sake. A football player gets $XX million for kicking a ball from here to there… but men like Mozart died broke.
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.One problem with the American Dream is that we have made it too fluid. Back in the 50’s the American Dream was a decent house, a good car or two, a wife and two kids an a decent job. Look at today’s world, instead of a modest house we are told we need a house that have as many rooms as a 1800’s hotel, we need the BMW, Lexus, Cadillac AND Corvette. We need the Barbie Doll wife or Ken husband, the yacht and everything else you see being portrayed as the “American Dream” on TV and in movies. Instead of being happy with attaining the things we need to survive and prosper people are being brainwashed into seeking more.

Anonymous42Is the American dream dead? F~~~ no, it’s gone full retard, it’s now the American Nightmare! Nightmares are dreams too…
look at my American f~~~ing dream!
