Anonymous14Something just glitched on my end. I was able to down vote anybody in a thread. I thought it was a glitch, so I down voted someone, and came back, the ability to down vote was gone, but the down vote I cast was recorded and shows as a red star next to the normal star that is always there.
If this is something in the works it is a very bad idea. Ghost accounts can wage wars, MGTOW can go on crusades vs. each other, outsiders can have an effect on the site, and men will become more cautious about what they say. I can see a burst of new accounts being made with the intent of using the second and third or more accounts to wage war and a purge of sorts will ensue.
Not a good idea in my opinion if this is something in the works.

THIS. Particularly the highlighted parts.
Anonymous42It’s a glitch in the MATRIX, same thing happened to me several months ago, over 2 1/2 years ago we had that feature and there must be traces of it lost somewhere in the thousands of miles of code.
You’re right, a group of invaders down voted some of the most outspoken members including your truly.
Need the ability to sideways vote
Don't care
I agree Joe. Down voting option is a bad idea and will lead to a flame war.

Ha, good to know. I was trippin b~~~~ when I first saw it. It would be a terrible idea. Oh well, I got to use my one, and hopefully only down vote ever here today!
(The identity of the recipient shall remain anonymous as I actually quite like the fellow)

Been there, done that, wanna see my burns?
Psychologically:
The ability to down vote is synonymous with hive & mob like behavior.
It would only lead to internal chaos & disorder in the forums.
Anonymous3As OldBill has stated in the past, and I agree, the number of active MGTOW users is rather low. Many are blue pill men or women that checked it out or monitor but aren’t MGTOW.
We’ve seen it sometimes in action with blue pill posts being upvoted. But we as a community I’ve noticed often ignore those upvotes and will just c~~~ punt.
However when there is a downvote system in place, it will have a massive effect on MGTOW content. I really don’t think it will be the MGTOW active members that use it much. But it will silence a lot of the good content.
I’m not sure downvoting can work on MGTOW. Not with our current numbers, maybe never.
The essence of man, as we’ve seen on this forum many times, is we can disagree, even argue, and then shake hands and love each other afterwards. Women and manginas are incapable of this. They just want to silence and use mob rule to do it. They don’t want to hear or consider new ideas. They take any different idea personally and find it offensive and remember it for life.
Downvotes would probably destroy MGTOW, IMO.

Something must be wrong. This makes it two days in a row that I have had to agree with Joe.
I don’t find it useful here in the forums, since we are free to express ourselves. But, a separate community for questions & answers regarding MGTOW , will have an enormous benefit from it.
Here we talk, there are some more serious topics, that we discuss over and over again, that would worth to be saved somewhere, with the “best answers” for that question. From legal advice, to business and investments, there several questions here that people ask over and over again.
About to keep this forum clean, well, we can call de gynocentric bulls~~~ genie whenever we see a bluepill s~~~ or c~~~. IMHO, those are the only ones that should be banned from posting s~~~, I don’t have anything against them being here, let them lurk, as long as they don’t disturb us.
A downvote button, would give them power, as much power as a member who contributes to this community, to “control” the MGTOW content here. But it won’t bother me to have a way to users based on their reputation to help to control flamewars and trolls.
A voting system considering our points would be good, like anyone under 200 points, can be banned/have his account locked if the sum of the points of the people who “clicked in the troll button” is greater than 40.000 points. It would require some members to report the troll, but his account will be locked without even bothering KM with this subject.

lol You and Pete need to stop saying that, it is only the same one or two things that we DON’T agree on.
What about the ability to create polls? Good idea or bad idea?
Don't care

Good point. I completely had to agree with you on this down vote situation. It seems that as long as we keep religion or lack there of to ourselves /as it should be/ we are good to go.
Why do we even have voting at all?
This isn’t facebook.
Is there a down vote button for down voting?
Anonymous42Down votes only reflect the average in any given interest if that interest isn’t controversial, when it is controversial you have bias interests voting it down without any objective consideration at all, just blind bigoted ignorance given a place to blossom.
Plus votes alone reflect the old saying; if you don’t have anything nice to say then say nothing at all.
Feminists will join up by the hundreds to destroy the voice of legitimacy, just watch the down votes stack up the hundreds a minute, same way they try up-voting their trolls getting 500+ in less than a few hours. That’s happened here also and it’s something I look out for and report so they can be punted without any further ado.
It’s up to us to keep this place alive, clean, and healthy. These gender-studies safe-room rape-screaming c~~~s want nothing more than to destroy us like a spoiled child enraged with a loaded gun!
Down votes will give the trolls power to willy-nilly nullify you up votes and dictate mob opinion the same way the do in mass media!
What about the ability to create polls? Good idea or bad idea?
I really like the idea. But again using the points/reputation system, or a random pack of c~~~s can join and mess with our polls.
Holy S~~~! I agree with Joe twice in one week—I must be drunk! Yes that’s it!

I have to concur. If anything, I’d prefer voting be removed entirely.
I’ve been posting on forums for decades. This vote thing didn’t exit until after facebook. The internet was a better place before facebook.
