It is now 2017. There is no such thing any more as “grounds for divorce”. Divorce in all first world countries now is “NO FAULT”. It means there is no longer a “reason” or “grounds for”. It can be (and often is) done on a whim. Like changing one’s wardrobe for the new season..

I saw that story before.
For background, I believe that list was submitted by the husband to either a marriage counselor or divorce lawyer; I’m pretty sure it was a marriage counselor. The wife had the gall to post it publicly as a way to shame her husband for whining and being so “needy”.

It absolutely should be grounds for divorce, but in retrospect when it came to the biatch I was married to, it would be months between sexual activity. And she would move her mother in just so she wouldnt have to meet my physical needs.
I complained, in the beginning when this first happened, but then decised that it was impossible to motivate her to be the “wife” she was supposed to be to me. So Like many husbands I just let it slide and took care of my own physical needs.
Fast forward 12 years of a hellish, mind warping , head twisting tumultuous sexless marriage, I got out of it. My suspicion shouldve been aroused when she called me at work and asked me if i had been with anyone other than her. I hadnt been, but i asked her why? and her response was that she had gone to her eye doctor for an exam and he found clamydia in her eyes !!!!!! And since I hadnt been having sex with her , someone else had shot his s~~~ in her eyes. thats the only way I figured she couldve aquired that STD in her eye !!! I have recently been reunited with my daughter , and my daughter confirmed for me that her mother had been unfaithful for quite sometime.
So husbands if your wife is not having sex with you its a very good possibility that she is getting it elsewhere. All of those exscuses i heard and because I trusted her I never figured she would do what she did. Now i am not so niaeve about these things.

Without being married, I was a victim of the ol’ bait and switch. Bought my first home on my own and she came out of nowhere and it seemed perfect. We had loads of sex and she was in to me. She kept hinting to move in and I said no but one time she got mad and said it’s normal for couples to live together and I have to show I’m serious or she would leave. She hinted that it wouldn’t be so much hassle having so much sex if we were in the same bed every night together. Legally speaking, of course not. In principle, I’d say under normal circumstances yes, but principles are irrelevant when it comes to marriage and divorce.

I can’t really even say that sex should be a legal requirement for marriage. How the hell do you enforce that, and why do I want the government spending money on enforcing that? And if sex were a legal requirement for marriage, doesn’t that essentially legalize prostitution?

And if sex isn’t a lega grounds for divorce, why is infidelity? It essentially results in a man giving up his ‘right’ to have sex.

The end result is that if sex matters to you, getting married may be the worst decision you can make.

Of course in the olden times a woman would never have gotten away with rejecting her husband sexually due to her being his wife (meaning marital rape was not illegal, the husband had all the rights to take it due to being married to her).
