This is the most insightful analysis of the pathology of identity politics Ive read so far. It’s very long, so here’s the summary:
1. Identity politics comes from a belief in the sanctity and entitlement of the individual and the group on the basis of its superficial identity. These believers are “identitarians”.
2. Identitarians are not just agitating for political advantage, or trying to extort taxpayer money, or shut down oppositional speech, which is bad enough, but they also are truly seeking a clear identity in an atomized world.
3. The atomized existence of modern life is not just the economics of moving to where the work is, or separation from geographical community caused by technological access to online special interests, atomization is pathological due to the breakup of nuclear and extended families.
4. Women’s suffrage, birth control, de-stigmatization of pre-marital sex, and advantages in divorce court are causes of majorities of adults practicing “serial monogamy”, which makes stark family identity very difficult, “is my mom’s new husband’s daughter my sister?”…”are my uncle’s new kids by 3rd marriage my cousins?”… with family identity obscured and rarely socially continuous (extended family gatherings are much rarer due to distance and non-blood relations), people are gravitating to superficial ethnic or sexual identity in the vacuum of familial identity.
5. Familial atomization and government welfare incentivizing fatherless homes causes millions of children experiencing no-father parenting. Fatherless children, especially boys, are many times more likely to be dysfunctional and violent, and loyal only to tribe, i.e. ethnic identity, sexual identity, or criminal gang identity.
The author contends that extreme familial atomization and the resulting parental alienation is the root cause of pathologically violent identity politics. I tend to agree, though more scientific data would need to be developed to be sure. It’s clear that the psychological reasons for college age people wanting to kill somebody because they disagree with them are deeply rooted in some kind of childhood pathology.

I think the destruction of the black community can confirm this.
A difficult challenged faced, in the case of dealing with what causes what in human history, is trying to be able to separate correlation and causality. It is entirely possible factors, were at work here. You have seen the breakdown of the extended family, for example, and the nuclear family also followed after that. I would say deeper factors are at work, which also have driven to MGTOW being around, and men feeling a need to be here. The normal family structure is gone. I personally witness this first-hand at my job, where people call in for health coverage, and I check their accounts, and I see cases where you will have a woman with like 4 children, each with a different last name. You do also see couples, and take the 4 children thing and have a guy who has a different last name from all of them.
What caused what here? I can’t say here. And for going the unmarried man route, is pushing a tradcon agenda what you really want? A kicker is that people who have also faced problems by certain trends, like you have, may have a different agenda which isn’t of benefit to you.

Anonymous12I think as humans we need to believe in and belong to something. As all the things that worked have been eroded people now jump on this.
It is said that places like Africa are socially rich but materially poor while Western nations are the opposite, save for the immigrants that hold onto cultural/family values.
Lifes a bitch, but you don't have to marry one!
Great post, this is the case is any 1st or 2nd world nation where community has ceased to exist.
Regardless of race, the sense of community has vanished and so has the place for the historic figure and role for men.
