Amidst tanking NFL ratings the chief protector of the anti-American thugs has the b~~~~ to ask for 50 million a year and a private jet for life?
You have got to be freaking kidding me.

Besides the noble art of getting things done, there is the noble art of leaving things undone. The wisdom of life consists in the elimination of non-essentials. - Lin Yutang

A letter sent by the NFL to Jerry Jones’ attorney accuses the Dallas Cowboys owner of “conduct detrimental to the league’s best interests” over his objection to a contract extension for Commissioner Roger Goodell.

Never been a fan of American football, but I respect it being such a passion sport for many here.

However, I do not get it how it got to this point that a sports league is so paralyzed and seem to crave self-destruction. Likewise, if the reason for this is beef with police (which I happen to have some sympathy for), why attack in this way. NFL has, or at least used to have a much more focus on military relations than police.

I almost eondee if the liberals hijacked THIS thing too, but why? Why would they want to destroy a national sport like this? What is in it for them?

Again, don’t care too much about the sport. It’s too slow; games are too long and so many players have been involved with over the top misconducts of all kinds hat would have toppled most soccer leagues in Europe, IMHO.

It is beyond bizarre, how obsessed some people are about making this an issue of demonstration. Truly one of the things I shake my head over. Is this going to be the norm next year also? Soon we will have single K digit audience and they may have to pay people to come and fill stadiums.

    VERY strange.

Man small, why fall. Earth’s call, that’s all.

I work with a guy that played in the NFL briefly. I asked his opinion on the kneeling and protesting. He went off like a cannon and said he’ll never watch another game again.

I noticed his work area didn’t have his former teams logos anywhere. It used to be covered in them.
