The difference between need and deserve. I need something to eat. I may or may not necessarily deserve steak. Did I work for it? Can my heart handle the cholesterol? Etc.

Is batman just? If justice = fairness, then is it unfair that if a person behaves in a criminal fashion, then that person is forceably apprehended and incarcerated?

If this is not unfair, then it is fair. Motivations are not necessarily important to the population at large, but may be important to the individual that is meting out justice. Are all police officers that were victims of crime unsuited for law enforcement? If not then Batman’s motivations are equally unimportant.

"I asked you a question. I didn't ask you to repeat what the voices in you head are telling you" ~ Me. ........Yes I'm still angry.
