I’m curious to know if anyone here is doing TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) or has previously done it?

    I am.

I had to undergo therapy. I had a growth on one of my testicles that is affecting my ability to produce testosterone. This has been going on since my thirties but didn’t start therapy until I was in my early 40’s.

I noticed a increase in energy. My work outs not longer seem like a chore. Better mood. Increased libido, but still not what I had as a young man. Better sleep, Better concentration.

As I’ve gotten older I’ve done my own non-prescription TRT. First with direct testosterone precursors, until they got banned, and now with DHEA which you can get OTC.

It works very well and gives the benefits described by Soldier-Medic. Highly recommend it.

Did you have to see a specialist to get your testosterone levels checked or a general practitioner? Did they just draw blood?

I’m going to get mine checked just to see where they are at. I will definitely take TRT into serious consideration when the levels start to drop.

The testosterone thing also brings up a good topic in the manosphere, and that is how they have made steroids illegal when they are used to boost testosterone as well. So basically what we produce naturally is considered illegal if it comes from an exogenous source.

They need to legalize all performance enhancing drugs and stop hiding by the typical “for the children” bulls~~~. If it’s something we can choose whether or not to put into our bodies then I don’t see the point of making it illegal.

The real delusion is that most professional athletes aren’t taking some kind of PED, and this includes Olympians. From what I’ve read it is pretty much a cakewalk to beat a drug test as long as you aren’t a complete moron. I think it’s safe to say that most pro athletes are taking some kind of PED. And they keep Pete Rose out of the HOF for gambling. What a bunch of c~~~s.

This all started in the Urologists office when he was examining my unit and was ordering imaging and lab studies.

The doc (here in Texas) can usually order it when called for if the patient is complaining of the right kind of symptoms. Fatigue, decreased libido, irritability, etc.
